I will be there, or will die trying

I'll hold you to that!

I hope everyone is still this enthusiastic this time next year, I've been trying to get everyone to do these events for a few years now!!! (or maybe just last year... I forget).

Navigators do tend to be rather scarce, so start looking early! And I would recommend doing a few night runs prior to get a feel for the sorts of things you need to do, and possibly do Coastal Challenge in July. Much much harder navigation, but if you get through that, Queensland Challenge will be a walk in the park :P

Also, rumour has it there will be another touring road event up at Kilcoy in November...

We need to see a bigger Rollaclub contingency next year!  :P

What? You expect people to start running around starting fires and shit?

con·tin·gen·cy  (kn-tnjn-s)

        2. A possibility that must be prepared for; a future emergency.

  2. The condition of being dependent on chance; uncertainty.

  3. Something incidental to something else.

I think you mean "contingent"

contingent

*blush*

Thanks Mel :y: I'll pass on your congratulations to Pauline too :P She did extremely well, far surpassed all my expectations and then some :D She's absolutely stoked too

Heh, although during the speed stages (Prince Henry Heights and Wivenhoe in particular) she was going "oh crap oh crap oh crap" all the way :P She couldn't see at Gatton (helmet slipped forward and covered her eyes), I recon she would have been saying that all the way too, especially when we got airbourne at the dips :bash:
