I just bought this car four days ago. Will A K-50 Gear Box Make her move quicker

yeah maybe, will make her ALOT more fun

Wont make it any faster but it will make your ears and fuel bill alot better at high speeds

kind of a big job to convert to manual as well, you need a pedal box and the rest of it

mate its nothing just by a wrecked out doner car thats 5speed..

 

and actually it does make your car quicker as the auto sucks up plenty of power.

 

When I hopped into my ke70 after doing the conversion it felt like a whole new car!

Will also be quicker due to having 5 gears instead of 3.

It will make a difference for statrters it will have 2 more gears and wont have to try and push the auto box as the older auto cars were really slugish

Plus auto's tend to suck more power out of the drive line.

 

It'll be faster. It'll feel faster.

 

If you can't find a 5 speed, even a 4 speed will be better.

Absolutely!

 

Its the best thing you can do for performance. We converted to a 4speed intially, then dropping a 5speed in later was just a half-hout job.

yeh it will make it go faster but it's kind of like saying sexy lingerie will make your mum look hotter. You put the effort in but it's really not that much of a change in the end.
