they suit the car real nice man,by the looks of the control arm rca's would be a good thing ,for the camber maybe a longer control arm or redrill the crossmember ?

with an S13 LCA it gives a shitload more camber, but the top doesn't pull it in enough. The ke70 LCA sticks out enough, I just need to somehow pull the tops in more or angle the wheel more. I think cold bending the struts will work.

More positive offset = gay. Who wants FWD wheels on a rwd ;) Man, bent struts is the way. I'm going to have an experiment with some old Ke70 struts tomorrow. Hopefully i'll make a jig up for my press and work out a way to acurately bend struts... machine up a 30-40mm spacer to drop in the bottum and then get short stroke shocks of some description and sort it all out! will be tough as guts .. i hope.

Hahahahaha I love you signature, I was like.. when the fvck did I write that lol!!

btw i got bent ke30 struts in my corolla. 1.5 neg camber with 2 inch drop. he bent them 6mm. anymore the shock would of started grabbing.

So I woke up at 4:30am and couldn't sleep due to illness. I just spent majority of my time reading this thread.

Wow, just wow! So much progress, very impressive. You have definately given me some motivation to do some work on my track ke10!

Keep it coming!

Cheers, Jake.

Biggest problem at the moment. Hilux diff.. Hilux 5 stud, 4x110 and I want 4x114.3 in there aswell. Plus theres 1 random hole. Ahhhh expensive cars :-( Might plug weld all the holes and drill it out. If it breaks, get some billet axles made later down the track.

Posted

the random hole would be for the screw that secures the disc/drum to the axle?

they put my struts in a *jig*. bent them, refitted and done a wheel alignment x 3

Ah that explains it. The diff I bought for $1000 was a hilux LSD torsen diff with 4x110. I was like fark yeah when I bought it but now I need 4x114.3 :( such a pain. Not sure on what to do haha. The Axles have actually been chucked in a lathe and machined down to fit inside the Rx7 discs.... :S I'll see what I can do today, hopefully sort something out
