I wonder what breed of motor it'll run. Never know the "K" motor might make a come back. Just like ford did with the Ka and its 1lt escort motor from the 70's.

Remember these days Daihatsu IS Toyota. The Aygo uses a 1.0L Daihatsu engine in the first place (1KR-FE, same as the Sirion and Charade). I'd be guessing they'd be using the 3SZ-VE out of the Materia/Toyota bB.
