August 20, 201016 yr comment_461145 I agree Auto One is good, though when I went there to buy paint for my car he didn't know that the GMH black was matt. And Car Bitz is ok, they sold me a 4k water pump for 40 bucks less than Repco, they are just always understaffed. Report

August 20, 201016 yr comment_461158 pull of the heater hoses at the fire wall to flush the heater core, and BE GENTLE with the water pressure. Flushing is an art on old cars. Flush every hose in each direction until all you see is clear water. 'Cause it's a drought, don't let the neighbours see! Edited August 20, 201016 yr by Bamboo Report

August 20, 201016 yr comment_461162 and don't let coolant flow to the drains on the road! come on B you should know this Yeah E, your right. But if you do it on the grass, you'll have a nice dead patch. My neighbours don't really give a shit so I let that bad boy flow. My theory is people are allowed to water their garden, so the occasional flush on my fleet of cars is ok! Report
August 20, 201016 yr comment_461168 The drain taps on old radiators are for show only... don't try and use them. I learn't this the hard way, the whole thing came off at the weld when I tried to undo it. :( Report
