t18drifts Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 (edited) how long does it take for rust to totaly ruin a car from like a few little spots and a small hole Edited September 7, 2010 by t18drifts Quote
ke70dave Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 (edited) 2593.444444 days did you take into account leap years twinky? taking into account: leap years, the natural frequency of western australia (where t18drits lives), combined with the effect of both the inverse reactive current and the modial interaction of magneto reluctance and capacitive duractance. I calculate the time for rust to completey ruin a car to be 3624.6666667 days. Edited September 8, 2010 by ke70dave Quote
bLinded_ Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 One must also factor in the conditions of which the car is kept and/or driven around in :D Quote
Twinky Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Do not forget the effect of the moon, wearing odd socks and dividing by zero. Quote
67Rolla-Ken Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 This is another one of those "piece of string" questions... there is no correct answer!! I personally hit small rust spots with rust converter untill I get a chance to fix them. If you do this your piece of string should be longer :D Quote
t18drifts Posted September 8, 2010 Author Report Posted September 8, 2010 haha ok cuz like I'm hell paranoide and have a twitch cuz there is rust on my car how well does the converter work lol Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 (edited) how long does it take for rust to totaly ruin a car from like a few little spots and a small hole If it's an Alfa or a Skoda, the time it takes inbetween the salesman showing you a pristine rust-free fresh-off-the-line model and when you said drive fresh-off-the-line model out of the carpark of the dealership. So about 20 minutes, depending on how slow you are with the paperwork. Edited September 8, 2010 by Hiro Protagonist Quote
