Haven't been able to do much on this lately due to life/ tafe full on and weather.

 

Managed to score a 1200 corolla badge to replace my broken corolla badge

 

 

Also today scored a Rollmaster double chain kit

 

 

2 Weeks Later and my engine has been dipped but still hasn't had the cam bearings installed >|

 

Figured out yesterday my alternator is doing fat load of sweet fark all. Discovered there's no voltage reg for it in the car.

 

So looking at either installing a factory reg, or switched the Nippon Denso alternator to a Bosch ke70 unit. Which will make finding another easier if i need.

 

Paint was dropped back into the paint place yesterday for another go at mixing. Also had a conversation about turbo carby cars with the paint guy :laff:

 

 

Also considering buying a pair of Crystal headlights to put in this until i can track down some factory looking semi sealed beams

Badge and Timing kit look killer man! Go with the bosch alternator, just for ease of upgrade later if you want a bigger output on it for your neeeeonz and stereos.

As of tuesday the future of this car has become uncertain.

 

As year 12 i recieve youth allowance, Which for no apparent reason has been cut.

 

I've enquired why but i'm sick of them treating me like a criminal everytime i make an enquiry.

 

So as of now i have no income. And very little spare time to get a Job.

 

 

By my estimates i have enough to finish the bodywork, spray it, do the interior; carpet seals etc and get it through rego. But that's about it.

 

In no way ever am i selling this car though. All this means is something is going to have to be done in order to then further modify it how i'd planned.

 

 

Also have updates i'll upload in the next couple of days

Turbo'd-ness rocked up today, Big thanks to Ryan (slo-083) :D

 

Got my engine back today, Picked up some engine paint and welsch plugs and set about pimping it out.

 

Also switched to a bosch alternator in the ke10 with help from stu (kick5k) helping me make sence of the wiring, Cheers dude!

 

As i set about the motor i grabbed my new cam and had a play around

Not too much to report on this at the mo been cranking into tafe work to get that finished off before i touch this anymore.

 

Have got something turning up for this by next week or so which i'll update then. I rate it :P
