hey guys I'm lookin for a ke10

i went and looked at one in a guys padok but i noticed on the body the number is KE09-135

 

can anyone tell me what it means?

all the others i have seen all have KE10-*****

where on the body was it? was it on the firewall where the typical body number is?

 

also what's your location?

 

do you have any pics of the car in question?

it was on the top of the fire wall on the drivers side

from pics n other ke10s iv looked at they hav all had ke10-****

Has the 1 not been stamped properly? Is there a small gap between the E and 0?

 

IE: meant to read KE109-135?

but over all its in pretty good nice

without pics mate it would be a guess, and everyone will tell you the same.

have a good look and decide for yourself from there.

if you are unsure then take pics and ask tomorrow, hope this helps.

Nothing in the Toyota identification chart about a KE09... Google doesn't like it either :(

Ok asked my Poppa and he said it might be a Corona not Corolla and he sent me this link:

I have gone back and brought the car. I'll work out how to post pics for of the compliance plate and body numbers
