Hi guys, a few recent updates. Got most of my panels primerd up and ready for their final block down. Also got the ke30 mobile for the first time in 5 months. Built a car trolley with with marty to get the car mobile and take her to work for a bare metal respray in the standard colour. I must say paint stripping the car has so far been very quick and easy with no bog in sight and the original paint lifting off perfectly which has made it kind of enjoyable. Big thanks to my mate marty for the help and my boss for the scrap metal and wheels. Freebie !

Thanks Phil, corolla is coming along nicely. Ill be doing a few long runs in the car when she's done to get to know her again. Ill be coming to ACT for sure !

Hi guys quick up date, been busy painting all my bits and getting the inside ready for paint. I also edged out my panels ready for their final block down. Got the motor painted finally which turned out well. Next its time to run brake lines so i can drill a few holes before the shell gets painted.

Update time and I'm a little closer to getting the rolla painted. A few panels are done and I'm taking the shell to work in the next few days and hope fully it will be done in a few weeks time ready to put her back together which I'm looking forward to.

There's something so cool about seeing an oldskool corolla on a rolling dolly like that last pic, reminds me of all the yank tank restorations you see on the TV shows etc :)

 

I really want another Corolla........ actually no, I just want THIS corolla Mick, so tell me what I gotta do to have you leave it to me in your will or something man (cause I know you won't sell it!), I don't care how long I have to wait :P haha
