Ke 20 Front Hub Upgrade Gone Wrong

Recommended Posts

Hi, i have a set of front struts from a ke 55 (so i was told) and when i try to fit them on to my KE 20 Stub axle using the original ke 20 inner bearing which fits fine the hub seems to wide, when i measured the 2 stub axles the ke 55 is around an inch longer ... so everything fits on but i can't put the nut on the stub axle because there's not enough thread..

also the backing plate holes don't seem to line up..

Have i been sold the wrong parts? or am i missing somthing here any help would be much appreciated i have been searching for months and these parts are all i can find.

so i have $800 worth of rims i can't fit to my car and its a little frustrating. :(

If the backing plate holes don't line up u have the incorrect backing plates. The holes should line up, the only thing u have to do is to tap the holes on your strut to a 8mm or 10mm hole to match the hole on ur new backing plate. The holes on the backing plates should be in line with eachother not off set from top holes to bottom holes.
