Trev Posted September 1, 2012 Author Report Posted September 1, 2012 I gave the block a hone last night and it is no good for standard pistons so I have sent an email to a supplier in the US that says that they can get me a genuine set o oversize GZE pistons delivered to my door for $385 US which is damn good for what they are. So the block will be getting bored now. Quote

Trev Posted September 13, 2012 Author Report Posted September 13, 2012 So I called PPQ today to arrange payment for my plates (810WER) to which they told me that they have been sold (profanities galore, f&*k, c*^t, s#$t) and I ask them how when the plates were a custom order via TMR (queensland transport) and were held for me until the 13th. Long story short, they tell me they are very sorry and the reason behind it is the computer system puts any plate that is inactive for a week (on hold that is) back up for sale automatically, it went back up on the 7th and was purchased that day and paid in full by someone else. Another long story short, I speak to the manager who tells me that it is impossible to get the plate back and they will issue any plate I want (excluding prestige and 7c prestige) for the same price. This is now what I have ended up with and have actually paid some money on: Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 Thats a great plate to get for cheap. Its a 2000 dollar one. Awesome! Quote
Trev Posted September 17, 2012 Author Report Posted September 17, 2012 Nah it is a 2x2 flexi which is still classed as a prestige but is only $1095, I ended up changing the plate size from the norrow to standard width as the front bar holes are wider than the plate and the narrow would have looked odd so it actually looks like this: Quote
Trev Posted September 18, 2012 Author Report Posted September 18, 2012 So I finally spoke to TMR today regarding the shit with PPQ and they asked if I was happy with the AE71 plate to which I replied that I would be happier with 810WER so she said to leave it with her and she will get back to me. She rang me this arvo and informed me that I have now been upgraded from the 'AE71' to a 6 digit prestige which spells out 'BLOWER' (but with a number / letter combo) so that is almost $2400 value for $445. P.S. Even though I have paid a 1/4 of the plates, I will not be saying what they are until I receive them. Quote

Trev Posted September 29, 2012 Author Report Posted September 29, 2012 Fucked off, jumped on the ride on and mowed the yard today, tonight I went out to put the bonnet down on the ute and noticed this so I suspect a rock hit it as it wasn't like that before I mowed the front.: And it started raining so I moved it into the carport and as soon as the car moved it started falling to bits: Quote
