Jono.C
The problem you have is you need a bike engine that could adapt to a rwd kinda gearbox instead of chain drive
rke_011
yeah, keeping my original red interior.. trying to keep all original parts as I'm the second owner. I had some spare trashed seats that I'm getting retrimmed to factory style.. Haha no idea how much a busa motor is, but I'm pretty sure there are kits to make them into v8's :) NOW that would be fun in a ke10 i believe they are called a V1V8
Jono.C
You can buy them v8 anyway :) there was a site I was looking at while back with inline 4 and v8 bike engines, they're tiny but powerful. $10k will get you a v8

rke_011
we can all dream... its hard enough to get money just to give my daily a tidy up.. Building my 4age one is going to be slow... and i have most of the parts i need.
philbey
I remember seeing a clubman with a 1.5l v8 or similarly small. Maybe 1.8l
Taz_Rx
The problem you have is you need a bike engine that could adapt to a rwd kinda gearbox instead of chain drive Use the bike gear box for the actual gear changing and run it through a k40 for the 1:1 4th gear.....and reverse! There's a couple of busa powered starlets in nz with that setup.
rke_011
i need a money tree..
ro11in#22
I've seen a video of a starlet with a turbo busa engine using a 2 piece tailshalt adapted to the busa output shaft busas do like 200km in like second gear!
