was still looking at bodykits etc, but then just settled on getting a GT bonnet, so i finally found one at

wasnt too keen on getting struts, swaybars etc, til i figured out what engine i was going to go.

but then i saw this on ebay fo cheep..!

genuine Carbon Fibre Front Strut brace

i dropped my tailgate and bonnet to my painter to do the undersides, so i can then fit them back on the car, prior to a full 'top of car' respray

bonnet fitted

both fitted

had to rip out the hood lining to get at the bolts for the roof rails, so the roof can get respray

ripped off the front bumper so i can repair and paint her, while the car is at the paint shop

waiting outside the panel shop to start her makeover

 

pretty much where i am at, now

 

 

things to do:

source a sound system

upgrade brakes to Brembo/STi or even liberty GT(apparently a huge upgrade?)

re tint the side windows

figure WTF to do RE engine upgrade

As much as I hate to say it I do sorta, kinda, maybe like these just a little. A absolutely hate wrx's with a passion but the forester suits its purpose well. Looked after they last really well.

 

I'd be pretty sure the 2.5 turbo would bolt straight in. But I'm not sure how different the strength of the drive lines are.

can't remember if it was that one or another on their forums that was a RWD only conversion, all beefed up

and yeah Jono, pretty much just the rear wing is different.

i didnt feel confident enough in drilling the holes for a wing, if i could find one on its own
