hi all

this is my familys track car project

it is a late 1979 ra40 coupe we brought the car for the engine then relised the car was a rust free coupe :D ...

the engine is a 18-rgu twin valve spring model, and a w50 gearbox

 

here it is when we got it

this is the car as we pulled it down

 

pulling the guards off to fix dent ,etc

 

striping the interior

 

 

washing panels

 

 

 

rear lights out

 

 

pulling the motor down

 

 

 

the car is going to be similar to the bathurst ra40 , using the same flares and paint

this is cool, again can't wait to see this one done haha

hahah should be up and running by december :D can't wait

Should be fun! Go the 18RG!

 

We're looking for another one, Steve should be driving one as a daily and we'll need a spare shell sooner or later.

yeah there a great engine :) we should be getting around 200 hp out of this one :)

flares arrived a few weeks ago :D there huge next is some huge wheels to fill these ....

 

 

 

 

they are a copy of the original bathurst car :)

 

 

also picked up a 7.5" diff

 

 

 

 

next step is the motor and box ;)

they are gonna look awesome with a big set of wheels!!

hopefully :) the wheels are going to be 15x10 or 16x10 to 16x10.5 :)

I buy all my intercooler plumbing and stuff from them. They build a really nice cage and are not overly expensive for what you get.
