82 Corona/corolla, Same Thing?

New to this forum and just after buying a 1982 corona cs wagon, and the pictures I have seen of ke70 corolla wagons look pretty much the same to me, is that possible??

The corona is like an upscaled version of the corolla. Most parts look pretty similar but are not interchangable.

 

You would have an R engine yeah? or maybe an S engine not sure.

 

Corolla runs a K engine. (or an A engine)

Yah an R engine, it's an st130, are the body parts different too, lights, grille etc.

Can't be both :P and most likely it is neither - if it's a CS-spec T130 then it's actually a 1X engine (aka a Holden red six with 2 cylinders cut off)

Judging by what he has said it could be an st141, xt130 or rt132.

Didn't think there were any RT13x wagons (the RT132s were either sedans or liftbacks)? And he said it was a T130...

Australian-made ones, maybe, but the liftbacks were imported...
