Raven Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 Who uses what ISP and how much and whats your connection and download limit? I'm on TPG, with a 1500/512k connection and they just upped their price to $70 a month for 25gig. I was paying $50 a month for 20 gig. I NEED A CHEAPER ISP!! Quote
love ke70 Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 optus 1500/512 or maybe 256 can't remember :D $50 7gig peak hours, 14 gig after midnight til sometime :D Quote
Tiger Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 Anything cheaper than TPG is DODO I'm using Bigpond Broadband Cable, personally. Only because Optusnet Cable isn't available in my court! :D Not happy.. but ah well! I'm paying $59.99 per month unlimited downloads and it's cable so no phonecall connection cut offs or no extra phone line connection required :D Quote
MissSydneyCruising Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 (edited) internode. takes me longer to get to brisbane (sanity server) than it does the US (sydcru server) love it for uploading everything to the server :D Two hops to get out of the country. sorry, our plan is $70 a month for 20gb at 1.5/512 i think. We will be shortly going to iinet, at $70 a month for 12/1.5 with 20 gig. Edited March 13, 2006 by MissSydneyCruising Quote

CD_rollaman Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 I believe we have this, with Internode: HOME-Extreme-Value $59.95 Min: 1500k/256k, Max: 24000k/1000k 20 GB Shaped ADSL 2+ They offer a lot of stuff for the price, which in my oppinion is very competitive considering. Check their website, for more info Internode Quote
Corolla_Kid Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 yeah I'm on that telstra adsl but i don't pay the bill so I'm not fussed what it is lol so long as it is fast Quote
Sirolla[RL] Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 just recently got adsl2+ running at 12000k with adam. 40gig $70 a month. and 40gig is nothing for me but there's a bit debate on at whirlpool about why the increase. doesn't bother me but the major problem I'm suffering now is the drop outs (syncin in/out all the time). i get disconnected for the net i could say 20times a day or more. Internode is probably the best atm, might be the most expensive around adl but certainly more stable than adam i hear... Quote
tom210 Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 (edited) bigpond 512/(whatever the other number is) unlimited about $40 a month, us launceston people are special apparently... Edited March 13, 2006 by tom210 Quote
mlaser Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 i have just signed up with netspace 512 active plan, 15gb peak - 15gb off peak and with free pipe for 49.95/month. Was the cheapest for the amount of download i needed plus free PIPE. once its up and running ill let you know how good/bad it is. Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 TPG 1.5M $50/month 20 Gig download. Exactly half what I was paying on Bigpond with double the download limit. Quote
StephenD Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 We are with AAPT as part of a phone/net combo. believe it to be 512/128(or whatever that number is) with 12gig download which is then capped to a 64K connection if we go a little too overboard. Quote
