Yeah seen it so much matty, cars not finished and a big chunk of them poured money into, great time to get a bargain, but it's not like the gemini which was a quick streeter, going for something tough and reliable, going the next level from NISROLA

So she is finally home, and sitting on the hoist to collect dust

Well not as such, have another list of things to do now, Front brakes and brackets mounted and fitted, these are huge in terms of size given how small the Cortina is

So festivities were a plenty yesterday, but back to business, with a bit of rain about today, got stuck into her,

If anyone knows, engine conversions suck, and tricky to mount the engine in and out that was not designed for it, hoist makes solo, easy

Front brakes suspension out

Here is the standard rear setup, so easy to quick to install

As opposed to the new rear end, so many bars and adjustment

Now to paint and tidy up the underside

There are quite a few levels of adjustment under there to suit each application, and of course learning, GRP4 make box links which if not tacked to a cage i belive is like crumpled beer can, this idea is stronger

I should not see it being an issue, but can still run leaves and drop it all out, the welding and materials used do comply with VSB14 and why i got gussets put on and the engineer knows the fabricator as the cage was done by the same guy,

Not sure exactly what size rims, FR Simmons suit most early style cars

So here is how the cooler and radiator are mounted as one unit, bit of cut and shut and add another crossmember and brace along the top

Painted up some of the little pieces to look more tidy, here is another variation to the world cup crossmember to suit the Cortina

Next is to get the Brembo rears on, being an internal handbrake is proving tricky, but appears can be done

Have put the car back together for the next round of Fabrication, was hoping to not send it off again, but might as well get exhaust done at the same time,

Here is a few more pics of the Escort Crossmember with Rack and Pinion,

Heres a little bonus ive picked up, instant anti-dive kit, ill get an angled bracket welded to the cooler/radiator bracket, think i might have saved a few hundred bucks off a kit from the UK

Here she is back together, have to find or make a new Turbo manifold as changed the rear housing to a T3 frame
