hey all looking into doing up a ke70 what mods apart from the obvious ( engine mounts, throttle body and wiring harness) is there.

Also list of possible gearboxes manual and auto that are rwd that would bolt upto a 4afe with minimal fuss. All help would be much appreciated jimbo

Why the fe? When the GE is already rwd?

One of the big issues is what to do about the distributor.

 

I always thought a 7afe would be good in RWD, especially in my suzuki sierra. but havent figued out what to do with the distributor.

 

That water outlet might be difficult to deal with as well.

 

yeah i forgot that the 4age already come out rwd i thought the 4afe would be a cheaper conversion forgot about the dizzy and the water outlet anyone know where to find the cheap age rwd motors.

Water inlet actually :P And like the rest of the *AFEs it incorporates the thermostat too, so hard to relocate.

Could run something like this not sure on the effect on the cooling system.

I believe you could just used a different size water pump pulley to get the pump going a bit quicker if it was an issue.

Unless you buy the ignition setup (possibly head too) from a AT211 corona from nz......dli ignition no dissy :)

did any try to relocate the distributer to fit in rwd?
