jamesrolla Posted April 24, 2006 Report Posted April 24, 2006 this is my 1970 ke11 bought it about 12 months ago, when i first bought it, it was stock and had the 12" stellies and was one owner with its origional 3k motor and weak 4 speed i left it standard for about 4 months and drove it around but got sick of how slow and stock it was so first i put 13x6 mags on it heres a pic then i decided a 4kc motor and 5 speed gear box would make it go better so we fitted one and now it goes way better and i realised that the drums were a little under sized so i fitted ke38 discs on the front pics of motor it then had a respray in the origional whate and all dents were removed and in the process no rust was found at all combining teddys boot tutorial and makeing up my own bits i have fully retrimmed the boot and parcell shelf my self and fitted a cd player and new speakers pics of boot cd player in glovebox latley i have fitted a tacho and a crochaed rug of the back seat for more sleeper styling here is some pics of the rug then i aquired a set of 13x5.5 mazda rx4 stellies and did a diff conversion to a stronger ke20 one because i was up to my 3rd ke10 diff. i started with quiet ones and then they all got noisey and eventually went crunch (ke10 diffs don't like racing or motorkana's) the only problem with these diffs is the width so now i have to lip the inner gaurds pics of new wheels today i put an old RAC badge on the grill to make it look even more granny spec, i polished all the chrome again and fixed the dash using another tutorial combined with my own methods and am getting a dash mat and i got new carpet last wednesday and i got new rego plates asweel pics of plates so look out for me on tassie streets and at the next south khanacross cheers james Quote

Carlitos Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 Hey , thanks for the complaiments fellas ! I'm going to starting working on the front suspension and brakes shortly. I've decided to swap the struts for 81 Toyota Starlet struts and use a coil over suspension with slotted disc brakes. I hope that this swap turns out good it's kinda of expensive. So, are there any KE10 or KE11 with a rotary swap in on this forum ? Quote
Felix Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 nice cars. love the rims Carlitos :P are they 15's? Quote
