coming from me , ive owned my AE82 for 6 years and the first thing i would do is a full service including a radiator flush , new oil leads plugs coolant gearbox oil the works , if you can do it yourself it won't cost you much and it's worth every cent. You have to work out what you want from the car? if you want it to handle , be quick in a straight line etc etc . some 15" wheels with semi decent tyres and something along the lines of new springs or shockers or both will definatly help it , if your more into just a nice little cruiser whack some second hand king springs in it , leave your pod on and put a cat back system on it and just enjoy the car , it's a very open question without knowing what engine the car has etc etc.

Z158 will not fit 4ag fwd

the Z158 is for a rear wheel drive 4ac setup from memory and the Z386 is the correct filter for your ae82 - replaced the fuel filter? is the carby blocked? or semi blocked? are your vac lines and hoses all intact and not leaking?

mods will not sell a car under any circumstance UNLESS they include words such as "engine conversion" "Turbo" etc - seats and wheels dump pipes and woofers mean nothing to most people, it'd be the same as trading in two near new cars one stock one dumped on huge wheels, you are more likely to get more money for the stock one. Sell the goods from the car separate and put it on the market as stock as possible. Cars like this are only worth what people wish to pay not what you want for it, take the corona i have for sale for instance, no mods, books, and it's an absolutly bullet proof unit but nobody wants it - tough selling off old cars like these.
