seabiscuit
Breaking the 200km/h bracket is easy, but turn that into miles and it's a whole different ball game. A team of students and engineering guru's smashed the landspeed record of the <1.5L and <1L class at Bonneville sand flats with a de-stroked 4AG-TE 20V powered MR2. Here is the article.  The Fastest Little Sports Car in Utah: Bill Gordon’s 20-valve Norwood MR2 Turbo

dbr11k
Whoa...that's blowing the dust off a thread... Â My 4agte put out 220rwkw on only 18psi, once I get used to the animal as it is, I am having it rebuilt with darton sleeves, 288 cams, bigger injectors and retuned for e85, probably run 22-24psi through it and I want to crack the 300rwkw mark... Then I will have it de tuned again to, say, 20psi... so the thing doesn't inevitably pop. Â Â There is some big numbers coming out of 4agte's these days... Kickn5k cough cough. kickn5k
There is some big numbers coming out of 4agte's these days... Kickn5k cough cough. Â 300rwkw @ 32psi on caltex 98 pump fuel!!!! Still 1600cc and 16v, no 7a 20v needed!
dbr11k
It ruins the 4ageness of the motor when you add a 7a bottom end IMHO..
