Got my new parts. Decided a pair of bonnet hinges was in order and the bonnet support mechanism.

 

All up - $50. Bonnet is twisted though :)

Just a quick update for all you people.

 

So you all know that I have my twin SU's up for sale including manifold.

 

The reason being is that I have picked up some twin DHLA40 Dellorto carbs for a bargain price and would much rather use those as I can then transfer them to a carby-converted 4AGE at a later date without having to go buy another pair of carbs again.

 

So effectively killing two birds with one stone. :wink:

Hey Raven, lovin the 25 seriously, had a good read of your thread just now, a lot has been added since I last took a browse, very inspiring, can't wait to rock up together at cruises - all we need now is for someone to bring a 4 door sedan!! Turns out we have very similar plans for our engines, I'm looking to pick up some big webers (or similar) for my existing 4K just to give it a bit of grunt whilst I save for a 4A conversion, and then bolt them straight on there - but body is main priority right now, not even thinking about engine for another few months. :yes:

I think a carby 4AGE is a good way to go. Don't need to mes about with wiring etc etc. Should get your thread happening (if you already haven't) so I can have a gander at your 20. :D.

Decided to test out the 4K Electronic Dizzy that came with the 5K and it all works sweet. :P
