Bought these over the weekend so i can start on my front struts plus they were cheap and 15 inch.

The rims hit the strut and the bottom spring seat on the front so i can't fit those two untill my new struts are installed.

 

hey des, its coming along sweet. You could maybe get down to repco and get a spray can that matches your paint code, then you can lose the camo yellow grey look. just a thought... Otherwise, its looking real fast. Out of interest, do you know what the rear seat weighs? I don't think they are that heavy, i just can't be arsed pulling mine out to see. peace.

Yeah i know the greyness looks bodgey but i will get around to it one day, The rear seats weigh stuff all but I'm going to strip my sound deadening and some more interior bits soon but I'm going for light weight but still practical.

I briefly had the rear bench out of my spirit and the previous owner had already made it pay. What a scrooge, not even a 1c piece! To clarify, will you register this beast fully or what? Would be a sweet streeter, you could keep the sleeper wheels and smoke some sixes at the lights.

Thats your perogative, i was thinking racer only, but i just wouldnt want to get that little use out of it (serious time issues for me in the future) and realistically, id just end up killing all those nice things I'm buying faster than i could affordably replace them. Racing shit is a level beyond what I'm gonna get prolly.

Solid advice. Is that yellow paint nice and thick still, or can you see some undercoat? looks well polished.

The paint is pretty good except the under coat areas, It has a had a respray once in its life.

I'm picking up a Razorback ECU, Handcontroller and loom on sunday arvo.

 

So i need to get it running:

 

- Oxygen sensor and plug welded to my TRD copies.

- Intercooler piping made up which I'm doing myself. WILL BE DONE NEXT WEEK.

- Surge tank, Pressure pump and lift pump need to be sorted.

- Vacumm lines replaced and plugged in correctly.

- Wiring hooked up which will be done by Sam from Razorback.

 

Those 5 major things should be done in the next 8 weeks hopefully.
