I'm not a crack addict or into racing. Just looking at ways to get abit more go out of the engine I've got due to I haven't got alot of money at the moment and I need to do something with the car. I also don't know old corolla's due to the fact I have nothing to do with them at work or anywhere else.

well reboring the motor is more of a hassel then a simple k motor swap....

Because if he's building a PRC rally car he may have to keep the 3K? That was my reason.

 

if its a ke25-ae71 would a 2t/2tg be allowed for PRC?

Its not for a rally car or anything like that I'm actually doing it up as a road car so I can pull my civic of the road and do that up. I just want more go from it going from a 1.6l civic to the ke30 rolla was a big difference in power for me. doesnt sound like much but you can feel it .

4k/5k or put up with a slow pos until you finish your project

it all depends on how deep you pockets are and how long you want it to last, i wonder if a 7k would go out to 2ltr, that would be cool :P

Hey guys i work at special piston services in vic and have a customer with 3k for speedway car and he is was saying the biggest off shelf piston was .060" or for you metric blokes 1.5mm over std he is going .080 or 2mm over as that is the biggest he can go for his class can make them bigger but any more is toooo much i feel. You could always run a heap more comp run it on that 100 octane shell fuel, sorry its not a race motor, all you need is a bit more comp, small cam increase, port the head a bit decent carb setup with zost i thick that will keep you happy (maybe)

sorry sorry my mistake he is going .060" not .080" you are right it is an .080" piston that is avail off the shelf, htese super late nights working on the car are doing my head in.
