Well you can look at the short term effects, such as they are, or you can look at the long term advantages...a degree, more employment options jobs with higher incomes, more money for toys..... So while $ may be a bit tight now (and spent on things that you hadn't expected), at the end of it all (think sacrifice for my future now, benefit later) you'll have better prospects and more money to do the 1GGTE conversion. Oh, YEAH I forgot about that (photo's)....I spoke to the photographer, and he said that he'll have them on an online gallery, and if we want any pics to email him....he'll let the TCC know the link...as soon as I find out, I'll post it here....he said he's got a nice "motion shot" of my car.... And coupe, I'm keeping my car so you can't have it!!! :D

Rolla4 thank you... It got a bit hairy there for a bit, there was a tight corner with opposite camber and a bit of a bump the front wheels came off the ground and I almost lost it big time! Now I just need to wait and see if I get a speeding ticket (from the ocean leg of the cruise) :D Lesley :y:

Hello, I didn't actually win 1st in my class :(, I won 2nd in Show :D I think this means that the Judges thought my car was 2nd best out of all of them....(that's lovely, but I think there were better cars than mine... not that I'm not pleased!!!). Lesley :y: 2nd In Show

Just got home from the cruise...it was great! They said at the cruise that the gates won't be opening until 9.00am so should we still meet at 8.00? or a bit later? I have a spare "buddy pass" if someone needs to get in. Lesley :P

List of what I'm bringing: 3 x marquees 2 x chairs 1 x esky 1 x fold up table sunscreen book anything else we'll need??? Also, is anyone having anything to display the mods etc., that they've done to their cars, or information about their cars?? I've put together some info and laminated it, I thought I'd pop it on the windscreen so people don't think "why have they got a new corolla in there its as common as muck...." Lesley :P

LOL :P the car doesn't go under the marquee, the people do! It's going to be about 30 degrees on sunday! I have three marquees if you want to use them, I'll bring them all but we can stash them behind the chairs and tables. Lesley :)
