Yeah video would be good. I have seen plenty of bottom ends letting go and blocks destroyed by that but never something like this.... :( Then again it is 100 pounds of boost..... :D I think the turbo might be bit too laggy for the 4age but gettin it in under any engine bay would be the real challenge... :) Its mchuge....

I only found out about the 6afc in the AE92 a couple of weeks ago. I was stumped. Till then I had never heard of it and assumed it was only 4a series motors in it like the AE82. Anyway the 4agze definately has forged internals but have never heard of ceramic coated pistons but I may be wrong. Nice pickup if ya get the AE92 SX Robert. You will have to post some picks up when ya get the chance. If ya do the clutch aswell try and do the engine/trans mounts at the same time. When I had the extreme HD clutch in the AE82 with the 100kw I chewed through the engine mounts! :) Heard knocking from the engine bay and realised its the motor rocking far enough to touch something else in the engine bay.... :D Easy fixed but just a thought.... I have done that in my AE82. No splash guards. Not that they were rubbing though but don't really need em...

If the car is running the original motor and it has a injected 1600 it can be one of 2 from what I know. Either a 4afe or a 4age. Both are 16 valve but the 4age version has a 7 rib block as apposed to 3 and also oil squirters for the pistons. The head is the other difference with the "g" head designed for performance (with help from Yamaha I think!) and thats the one that has 100kw. Known as the small port 4age. Great motor and if you can get a good one in a AE92 I recommend it. The only car that came out with this 4age is the SX and SX Seca as well as the SX Gti. All cool cars but I prefer the hatch myself as apposed the the bigger Seca. The 4afe isnt a bad motor by any means but not as exciting or as powerfull as the 4age. I had a 100kw small port in my old AE82 and that thing suprised a lot of people. :P Check the engine code for the G!

You can change gear ratios of all gears including final drive, tyre pressure, wing downforce ect. Fastest I have run is a 9.08 but can't get much more out of it.

Forza motorsport rocks. I personally think its a better game then GT4 but thats not to say that GT4 is a bad game. Far from it. Forza 2 when released will probably be the decider for me though. I wanna 360 but thinkin of waiting for the PS3. The PS3 has been delayed.....again.... though till after Christmas. I'm not sure if I can wait and Forza 2 is lookin awesome in development reviews. BTW: Any Forza racers out there able to crack a 8 sec 1/4 in a 34GTR? I'm so close but can't get any extra out of it. :y: Oh and Dans right. Drag racer v3 is a awesome way to kill time at work. :P

Welcome to Rolla club.... arent all Corolla owners proud? :D My understanding of the rules in SA at least says that you can go up to 2 sizes bigger than stock. Stock AE92's only came out stock with 13's and 14's from memory so the 17's I thought would be out! Do you know something I don't MYSTIK ( In relation to wheel sizes anyway :y: ). It will probably vary from state to state so depending on where you are the rules change. It might be worth adding location to your profile so people can answer accordingly. As for a 6afc...were they a bit of a rarity over here in the AE92? I can't remember ever seeing a 1.4 AE92.

In addition to Hiro Protagonist! :y: With a good correct size oil removal tool you should be able to get it off in seconds even with only cm's to move it. You shouldnt have to remove the radiator. The 4ages I have had used a z386 (RYCO) or equivelant filter. They are a small filter. 4acs should be the same but I'm unsure! If your unsure which tool to get go to a car parts store and pick up a oil filter for the motor and then go and pick up a removal tool to make sure its not too big! Just check to make sure the removal tool when fully closed is noticably smaller than the filter. You don't need a huge tool in this case..... They can be too big! :D They are as cheap as $20. Probably less and will last ya for ages.

It says on the ebay write up "heaps of TRD extras..." The only thing with trd I can see is the sticker on the sides of the car and the seatbelt pads on the strut tower brace. ;)

:lolcry: Interesting. I have the same issue in my AE82 and from what I can gather its the synchros. Let us know how you go with that gb oil as I may try it myself if it gets the thumbs up..

Cool... I saw the pistons moving in the vid (slowly) but I'm assuming it also runs cams and valves ect. And by display piece I mean is it actually used for anything or is it just to look cool?

I have the LM702's on my car and I have been happy with them. I actually have them on the back and the dz101s on the front. Have been very happy with the dunnies! :jealous: By the way they are also on a AE82 but with 195/50/15's.
