  1. Some JDM love yo! ah the Saab chasers fit so nice with the nissan suspension in the front. Get my HSD sleeve kit soon... then I can actually set it at a proper ride height!
  2. Low much? RRRRMMMM :) I really like these rims haha! The Camber is adjustable, the spring height is adjustable, the lock is amazing and the ackerman angles are very very close to original KE10 spec. But honestly, who knows if it works until you try it. By moving the wheel up and down on the shock I've noted that theres virtually any bump steer which is a good sign. But in all seriousness... it looks rediculous. At the moment I'm stuck, don't have any 4x114.3 rims so the car has to sit on space savers Shot of the Diff setup. I still got some work to do on the rear end but it is substantially easier than the front part of the car. I still haven't got my beams, starting to worry me haha!
  3. Hahah flipped space saver. I've gutted the struts, cut the LCA's and going to weld it all up tomorrow! Get some teaser pictures tomorrow!
  4. Thanks for that, will try soon!
  5. I'm not actually sure if I'm going to use the Nissan stuff. I need to do some measurements first, make sure it works. Either way I have to: -Shorten the LCA -HSD Coil over sleeve kit Ke70: Pros: -Bolts in -Its all standard -No steering geometry issues Cons: -4x114.3 -Brakes are small S13: Pros: -Adjustable camber -Brakes are sorted out Cons: -4x114.3 How i'm going to overcome my 4x114.3 stud pattern issue for a while... I got a set of SAAB 900 1985-86 4x114.3 chasers, same as the Saab 4x108 chasers on the rear just different stud pattern so that fixes the wheels problem for a little bit. I will end up changing all the brakes later on me thinks D:
  6. got to work the other day, disc brake Hilux diff is in! Saab Interceptors to be widened to 8" next week Nice fat 205/65's I get my 3SGE BEAMS this weekend hopefully. I picked up the Nissan S13 gear a few hours ago and plan to bolt it all in tomorrow morning on my custom LCA's... Need to cut the Spring perch off the nissan struts and modify them abit :)

  8. POR15 looks like good stuff. I'm going to strip my floorpan out and fix the floor if theres any surprises and finish my clean my enlarged engine tunnel all up. Got a price/link/where to get this POR15 stuff?
  9. It's been done in a KE55! Bill Zilla KE55 AWD rally car
  10. Just lower the front a little more and rear venetians. If you want the full nanaspec rear venetians and the front visor.. but not a fan of the front visor.
  11. Looks incomplete without it. Do what I did with mine.. looks tough as, nice little TRD badge in the corner and its schmuck Each to their own! Love the sound of the 5k with extractors :D
  12. Tidy, little bit of rust.. relativly complete.. all the rubbers and glass are there, interiors there! Good car, got a bigger diff in it aswell
  13. Looks good, No idea how you spend 60+ hours on one guard though. Wheels are good, Why don't you have a look at Diamond racing rims... " 14 x 8" $82.75 " per rim. Cheap as custom made rims any size any stud pattern! Diamond Racing Rims Yo! I'm going to get a set for mine! More pictures Jono!!!
  14. ah T5 VW Dualcab transporter, made a custom stainless tray for it and got coil overs for the front and airbags for the rear as its a tow wagon for my large enclosed trailer. I got the original KE10 thats nearly finished so might sell that one since I don't need it and sell the KE16 wagon since I don't really need that either. Lots of shit to get rid of that I've gathered. Got a KE70 for the price of scrap yesterday, and an 89 rolla sedan off my school teacher for free with 2 months rego! Although giving them to my mates anyway haha!
  15. Drop the motor in, select the appropriate rubber mount, make some cardboard mounts and either cut them and weld them yourself or take it to an engineering/race car/rollcage shop and get them to make it.
  16. Time not really a worry and got enough to do it properly. Probably Should have bought an altezza or something but this is so much cooler! I got a daily now so there's no rush for it to be finished !
  17. Mate of mine came over with his sisters beams 3sge altezza... There's a halfcut on e-Gay for 4.5k and I can get it sent down for nothing so that's a bonus. I measured it up, I'm going to have to make custom engine mounts as the ke10 cross member is relatively closer to the firewall compare to an ae86/altezza It will fit just abit of work. The gearbox will fit with no problem. Only problem for me is not spending to much time on it as I'm doing my HSC and it's not worth stuffing my career up for a car ;) But I got my dad on the hunt today for a beams motor as I want to measure it up abit more... Tad worried about the large front sump they have!
  18. I went through all this... R31's have a conical LSD so if you plan on doing burnouts don't go with an r31. Go R31 if you want a nice disc brake diff, but if it doesn't fit under your rims then scrap it. T series AE86 diff and shorten the housings yourself and then get the axles resplined = cheap. Minispool or virtually locked LSD yo.
  19. Todays pickup brings home a new diff for the rolla! Not going to ever break the diff. Shortened Hilux diff, Prado LSD, rx7 calipers and discs and 4x110 stud pattern! Nice and big, bit to heavy but at the price that I picked it up I couldn't say no. It was to cheap to let go! I've changed plans with the motors and I'm pretty settled on the motor.. 3SGE. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ogo5ueU6Oo Might go with a Beams... like Anyway.. from looking at F20c's early this week I've decided they really aren't worth the 5.5k I was going to pay for one, in the end... beams has a 6 speed gearbox too and they make a fair bit more power than a 4age motor. I would easily slot a 4age in but its been done before and I want to be different!
  20. hahah good to see that blue ' car ' that I once owned going to a good use.
  21. Its not an ae86 rear end.. He got his KE10 and cut all the leaf spring mounts out and welded a shortened ae86 rear end to give coil overs and an adjustable link rear end.. similar to what the KE70 wagon guys do when they want springs in the rear.... cut a ke70 floorpan out.
  22. I check Jono's thread to get myself motivated!
  23. Yeah it deserves to be restored properly and done all original. Ah yeah same as that white one... the gutters have split off the car, although the rest of its straight. Shave the sills hahaha.. ew don't!
