    I'm pretty sure that the 1200 is a smaller car. The KE30 did have a grille that did look the same. It came on the 1977/1978 models

    ahh okay. I was just under the impression that the auto's had that thin stripe up the top while the manuals had the thick one in the centre of the doors.

    Went to the Museum today. I think they stole this from the Fortress Of Solitude... ;) My ass is hanging over the edge... Thought this Hemi was cool. It was donated by Chrysler Aust... It had a crank so you can see all the parts moving. My front plate that took the impact of the piece of tire the car infront flicked up... The plate protector shattered :)

    KE1x brochures had it on all models... Some KE20's (Deluxe) & KE25's (Deluxe model) had it Early KE35's (Deluxe Models) did according to the brochure... But it was gone by the late KE35's. The 1977 models in the us had them. Thats Wagon and sedan. Same with the utes, Corona's (Sedans, Hardtops and Wagons) So whitewalls were much alive in the late 1970's.

    Luigi from Cars thought they added a little something extra to the car. I kinda agree tho wouldn't put them on anything real new. Depending on what they're on they can make a car look classy.

    Whats wrong with them? Have you tried Rare spares? As far as I know they would be your last chance. You'll find the Scotts Auto Rubber and Spectrum are the same product. (Same part numbers) Spectrum is where Clark Rubber sources from.

    Would be nice to do this the night before the "Fools Cruise" that way we could end the cruise at Wellington Point and if anyone is keen they could make the journey across the seas to the Republic.
