  1. You can use the 4age dizzy with a bosch ignition module (part number - 249-9-222-067-016) and cost around 60 bucks, It does not allow advance tho, The module has 4 terminals: 15' is fed via 12v ignition on. 16' is connected to the - on the coil. 07' goes to the black wire on the dizzy. 03' goes to the red wire on the dizzy. ^^^^I will be more than likely using this system^^^^ It is also rumoured that you can also use the 2T or 2K electronic ignition type dizzy's but they require some modifying including fitment of the 4age distrubutor drive gear, You can then run vac/mech advance.
  2. ^^^^What more can you say, All very correct^^^^ The person i know that is running a turbo on his bigport GE just changed the map sensor to a GZE one, As with ancullen has agreed 7-8 should be fine but just don't throw 10 at it and have a decent intercooler.
  3. What time does that finish Beally cause that sounds like a good idea.
  4. There is no length of time that it can last, Its all up to how you drive it, Its not really recommended running 10psi on a bigport GE but a few have done it and are still driving them after 6 months.
  5. RWD alternator bracket:
  6. Cut the backing plate mounts off and cut the tube down and weld them back on.
  7. Happy b'day
  8. Your panel van more than likely has one cause its a commercial type vehicle with a gay blind spot so they had to put a mirror on.
  9. Same reason people take pics of their fender mirrors :hmm: Thats good....

  11. Looks more like a F series head.
  12. Yes and i actually seen it fall off, I was a front seat passenger in my mates car and we heard a knocking noise comin from the front left so i poked my head out of the window as we were only doin 40k's and the wheel nut fell off so we stopped and i picked it up to find that the stud was still in it.
  13. Ha, Yes Jon and i were on a spending spree last night spotting for each other over ebay :)
  14. Thanks guys :y:
  15. Just let me know if and when you wanna look.
  16. No its a bigport sump. Most wastegate actuators are 7psi, The only way i know if to get it to run under that is to get a smaller actuator. You can come over one day and have a good look at my project if you want.
  17. Nothing as yet, The car is still way off that step, But i am using the spare bigport sandwich plate and sump as the feed and return.
  18. I have been told by a reliable source to not worry about the microtech and just got with a adaptronic or if i wanna spend the money get a motec or autronic, I will end up gettin the adaptronic as i know of users and it seems reliable. I got my TE71 GT model kit today so work on that will start soon to be the replica of the real thing, I also have a left hand mirror comin in the next week.
  19. ECU time, I'm looking at the microtech LT10s, Anyone got any opinions they like to share?
  20. Ok, It might be something i have to look at also.
  21. Why do you wanna change it anyway?
  22. Nah i will have a set of GZE cams spare, I just didnt wanna use a set of bigport cams as i will be usin them both.
  23. You really shouldn't, You cannot put back what you take out.
