  1. Cool write up. Sounds like it was a great event! Was I there? :D I was probably asleep through a lot of it... My finger appears to be a bit better today, so I'm hoping it's just heavy brusing to the bone and not a fracture. That said, maybe I'm just being slack and avoiding the doctor... ps: you spelt my name wrong too :D
  2. Hahahahahaa... That's funny  Gotta love the rally crowd :( It's a pity that although the tarmac rally people are heaps of fun, they aren't quite THAT much fun :D I have strange memories of Datgirl's Datto getting "christened" at Jimna :D
  3. FWD can be fun, I loved my Lancer GSR for that (CB, so FWD). Tailhappy (like Hal), lift off on turn in and just stomp on the loud pedal all the way through, it was great! Until it ended up on it's lid at QR... My Satria GTi is also heaps of fun. Doesn't oversteer, or understeer, very neutral and sticks like glue to everything. Very predictable and a whole heap of fun to run around through the range with!
  4. Mmm, some of the Velo seats are really rather nice. I like the ones in Peter Stamfords awesome RS200 Esky... Actually, even the ones in Dwarf were really nice :D
  5. AWD drifting is the 5H1Tz Yo :D
  6. Jamie: This is dirt rally. Like the stuff you see on TV. Not Targa or Touring Road...
  7. If you need any other details or if you can't get onto Ted let me know...
  8. Good to see a HUGE Rollaclub turnout again! (sarcasm :D) I sucked. Did my first WD too. Suck suck suck. Ah well, it was still fun...
  9. Jamie: Haha, maybe you could convince me to sell mine so I can buy something nicer. Oh wait, I have no money... Bah! :D How did Rob mount his seats in Dwarf? They were a good height?
  10. Haha, I remember the first time I wandered over to Chris (TRD ke70), I didn't realise that Tony had a twin brother :D So there I was, wondering "hmm, car not here, but driver here... ?" :D
  11. Most any car looks awesome in Kandy Apple...
  12. Don't know if this link has been posted before (I don't remember it being), but here is something I thought might interest someone: http://remanufactured-engines.com/44%20Toy...%20Cylinder.htm
  13. Oh hey, cool: Apparently it's a KE70 "saloon"
  14. What a strange looking car... Apparently it's a TE71???
  15. Like I said, if the lines were any lower the bumpers would look strange. If they were plastic bumpers, you could paint them to look the part. But being chrome ones, would make it strange. Also, it's on the correct height for the fuel cap, which could mean maybe the bumpers are too low (as opposed to the lines being too high)?
  16. Rollaclub should also endorse kaleoauto for getting tune up bits, maintenance bits and performance parts! Well priced too! http://www.kalecoauto.com/
  17. Also I don't really see how the Panda could have been done "better". Because of the chrome bumpers, if you had the lines any lower (like on the Trueno), it would look weird. Aside from that, the only real difference I can see is the touch of white on the flares, but even that isn't a very big difference...
  18. Heh, I never said I liked it. It was just a KE70 with a Panda paint job, so I thought people might be interested in seeing what a KE70 with a Panda paint job looked like, in case they were thinking of doing it to theirs! :D
  19. If you've ever wondered what a KE70 would look like in Panda, here is one from Malaysia:
  20. My 4AGE tends to run pretty rich. Especially up past about 6000RPM. And Hal has 50L I think. Maybe even 55. In fact, I think the Camry might actually be 60L, not 55L...
  21. Oh wow. I have no idea what a flex plate is meant to look like, but that doesn't look good!
  22. Well, my Camry (3SFE, 2L) does just under 600km of mostly highway driving, on a tank of approx 55L. It does about 500-550ish km of city driving on the same tank. Towing a trailer, I got less than 300km on the same tank. Mostly because I had to rev each gear out a fair bit, and even doing 90km on the highway I had to sit in 4th gear, unless I was going downhill. On the steeper hills it was back to 3rd... My Corolla (4AGE), I have no idea because I've never run the tank much below 1/4...
  23. Hmm, looks like mine was bodge too then. Maybe Mr Hardware bought Pinky :D
  24. That would be Nikki, and yes she works with Ken Streeter. And yes, throttle stuck, tyres peel off rim (suspect running too low tyre pressure), rim dig into tarmac and over she goes. Pity. Even had my front spoiler on it...
  25. Happy birthday!
