  1. After watching the Power Ranger over and over and over and over again and again he made the tiger from the show. Didn't know it had a tiger but meh Has quite the imagination he does.... :D
  2. As far as we know we're going to the only ones from toowoomba here so we're going to leave on friday and trip up to my parents place and we can met up at Imbil saturday around lunch or so.
  3. And yet mines fanging to go. She starts her new job this wednesday and she's all prepared to tell them to shove it if she gets asked to work this weekend :lolcry: Give her a bunch of roses before camp, we'll get her blotto on the weekend and then you can take her to the movies monday night
  4. That ae81 sprinter sedan looks interesting
  5. ^^^ Oh so true. Even at four years of age he still wakes up through the night from time to time. Damn physio's that when you tell them how your feeling with your back where the pain is and what it feels like (a disc thats moved and pushing on a nerve). And get told, "here do these exercises and i'll see you next fornight". So anyway you do the new exercises for a week and nothing really changes - your back still hurts from around the same area. Would you give up ? I have, i just can't see the point of it any more. I haven't given up entirely, there's still two exercises that i do, but for the most of it i can't be bothered with the other six. One i can tell it does change my posture a little and the other one i've modified and it helps with my spine and leg muscles.
  6. Noice :P
  7. Ok! So even though Amber got a new job, she is determined that we are coming camping whether work like it or not.. So we have Dougies Yummy cookies (3 packets so far) to bring and some chocolate fudge.. Will figure out what else closer to the camp..
  8. On the subject of tool chests/boxes This be mine Wouldn't even come close to 500. But its got everything that i need :)
  9. Holy crap thats cheap. Thats just insane Edit - found their web site and having a look see. Down Under Camping - flood sale Bigfoot Medium Gear bag looks interesting
  10. That's frigging bullshit. What happens if its something serious - "No, sorry buddy but you'll have to wait the 9 months. Unless someone in front pulls out." I've always known internal bleeding as something major that needs to be be looked at asap. Not waiting 9 months or forking out $1500 for it Shouldn't have to get a loan for something like that
  11. :lolcry: At least it wont go missing. I've often wondered about tying fishing trace to most of my tools.
  12. I made the mistake of telling amber about that sumo storage and i almost got backhanded with a frying pan :lolcry: Some of it is a bit dearer but mostly a little bit cheaper. SP is owned by Austech which is based in brisbane. Kincrome is apart of the Stanley group which is, urm, american from memory. The one thing i will say for kincrome, is the Lok-on range of sockets - they are the bomb. Have a rounded off nut that even a metrinch won't grip on ? The Lok-on will do it. But, the last i saw them, you could only get them as a set in either 3/8" or 1/2" drive. Talking this stuff almost makes me want to grovel back into my old job..... And yeah i know about mess of tools. I went out and got a Supatools (mid-brand of kincrome) 9 drawer tool chest, not as good as the ones with the roller drawers but it's good for me and made up a trolley to sit it on.
  13. Yes, you'll have to upgrade the coil to one for a electronic dizzy.
  14. :poke: :dippie: Have you been smoking some of that magic weed ?? :wasted: (Y)
  15. When i was at my old job, we was getting rid of the kincrome brand and swapping over to sp cause of the better quality and better price. I was looking at one of the tools kits myself last year. But the only thing that put me off it was the width of the chest (it was too wide for the only real place to fit it in the garage) and i have just about all the tools i need. When you go in and see your tool man again ask him about the "Sumo Storage" tool kit. I was wishfully dreaming about the day that a truck turned up at home with it and i would have gladly knocked a wall down to fit it :lolcry:
  16. Mmmm, SP Tools, noice. 157 pieces sound better ?
  17. I always thought it was the other half
  18. Don't forget his sister :P
  19. Ditto, stay safe :hmm: i remember reading somewhere, skyline forum ?? That the r31 shares the same "k" frame as the vl and the vl's v8 is a drop in fit. An old mate was telling me that there's not much to do in bolting the "k" frame from the vn/r/s into the vb-vl for the v6 ecotec. Its what he did with his old vk and dropped in the supercharged v6
  20. How are you and the other RCers up your way copping ? I was under the impression that a ferret comes under the same law as a rabbit - need a permit in qld to keep one. Thats what happened to us when we moved back up here, but dad couldn't see the point of a permit for the ferret and a permit for the rabbit
  21. I have kids - nothing gets done fast
  22. :hmm: what ever i can find in the cupboard when i get hungry
  23. Yes same length. As far as i know the tail shaft will be the same, so it'll slide into output side of the gearbox. Unless the auto is the trimatic, which will have a different output shaft. Another variation can be the diff - the flange where the tail shaft bolts to the diff is different between the jap diff and the borg warner. The BW has a bigger flange then the jap. Think the best thing to do is line the new g'box up near the car and pull the tail shaft out and check to see if it'll slide into the new g'box. Be able to keep the car on the road that way, if you've picked up some oddball box. There shouldn't be any real dramas with the swap.
  24. Sweet, two :2thumbs: thumbs for the house. Give a couple of weeks and amber will be able to demo her new job :D
