thats cool, my dad is in the background in the gold ea hahaha, the ea was slow, yeah its not bad, but mine is a custom saloon car one that is sealed, so can't adjust a few things, but still can do fuel and ign maps etc, but i haven't played with one before and don't have a dyno, but just play with it and see how it goes,i guess any ecu is in the same boat, but you can get stinger 4424's for about $500 second hand

thanks mate :) awesome, were you driving? hopefully it will go better this time, i adjusted the fuel map, it went to 4500 and then it started to get less fuel for more rpm, so hopefully it will go even better up high now :D

thanks guys, my phone makes the colour look wrong, so i adjusted the pics to how it actually looks haha, yeah they are 114.3, i buffed it when i got it 3 years ago, and have probs only waxed it about 6 times, if i wash it at the car wash i use the wax function there too, seems to work pretty good, i wan't to take it out somewhere and get some nice pics..

hey guys, not much happening lately, took a few pics today :D

yeah i got some skills haha, i think the new pump is pretty stuffed, its quiet and works when i first start the car, then gets noisy and starts to get notchey and then stops working until i turn it off, then once it cools it then does the same again, so think i'm gonna try putting the valve in my old pump that appears to be all good apart from the valve, and if it keeps doing it i'll pull the rack completely apart and check everything, and if i can't fix it i'll replace the rack, everything else looks perfect. Getting sick of power steering...

hey guys, got a few bits done, i gave the rack a clean up and put it back in, and got a pump off a mates car and got the power steering working again, also mate up seat mounts, forgot to get pics of it in the car though, also made a mount for my power steering cooler i got off a mate, just have to run hoses, so will finish that off tomorrow :) also smashed my old pwr steering reservoir open because i couldn't find the melted plastic. found it haha, it had melted the filter out of its place also haha and the rack, had a pedders sticker on it and has blue boots on it, and the oil cooler, again forgot to get pics of it on the cars haha so should be all good this time :P

hey guys, iv'e pulled the power steering pump and the rack out, i'm thinking that the valve thats in the pump is stuffed, or the seals on the shaft that connects to the steering column are leaking, will have a bit more of a look today anyways, also pulled the bottom bolt out of the strut to look at camber, should be easy to do, will probably slot the holes and weld washers over them in the next week, looked alot better with some camber haha, also got a new fixed back race seat, just have to make up some mounts :)

yeah that sucks man, but that's life i guess, yeah do what mark said, would think that someone will snatch it up

yeah iv'e been wanting to do the front end for a while now, i borrowed a mates mig, and i have to pull the power steering pump and rack out so might look at doing it then, i was going to mod the struts, but i need to get the saloon car ones so wont bother doing that until i get them, would be great if you could get a few pics, cheers

hey mate, wow thats awesome, yeah the car is getting there, its a bit of a strugle money wise as I'm only 17 but still, the car has come a long way in 7 months, i just can't wait to get into the saloon cars, i'll only be competing in the vic series, hopefully i'll get it finished by round 3, hopefully i'll go ok in the series :) thanks for commenting

hello, finally got around to installing my window net, also put some bonnet pins on and removed the standard bonnet pull. not too fussed on the position of the net, i just mounted it the same as one thats in saloon cars so should definitely be ok

hey guys, sorry about not posting for ages haha, got a bit lazy, heres a few pics melted bottle haha, and the side pipe, didn't going off the outside of wintons huge ripple strip haha lots of brake dust on the front wheels i made a new camera mount yesterday, it mounts to my diagonal bar, hopefully it will be better from there, only thing is my camera is zoomed in pretty far when its not zoomed in, but think it will be better anyway i also slotted the holes in the bottom plate so its adjustable side to side and up and down :) and here is race 3 its the best one but the others did have a quiet few moments in them as i was trying a bit to hard haha race 2 race 1 was crap coz i was in the slower class, some of them were about 10 secs a laps slower, but i was against dad off the line, flogged him but his ea is a $20 race car haha

haha thanks, and if you don't like it just sand it off, i was thinking of doing the line that goes around the whole dash but it looks too hard haha, i think it would be overkill anyways

well i did around the gauges, i think it looks good, and it actually looks better in real life too! sorry about crap pics haha i'm happy with it, just a little less plain in there now...

yeah iv'e half done it now, i think it should look good when done, i just used a silver spray can, sprayed into the lid and put it on with the little white stick things with cotton tips, after a lite sand off

hello, been playing with my dash, repainting the silver bits :) this is before and after :D now i'm thinking about painting around the guages too, what do you think, should i or will it look crap?
