  6. hello, got more done today, finished off the wiring that i can do for now, just have to have all the front on to finish off, polished the coil, and a few other bits, and polished some of the wiper motor and repainted it in black, so just black and polished alloy, resprayed the firewall plates a bit better, pulled the x member out and painted it, cleaned the tail shaft up and painted it, cleaned the battery tray and painted it, painted the oil cap. sorry about the blury pic haha wiring pretty much done on this side polished the coil, and did some fully hectic twirly wiring haha, just to make it a bit less boring it makes it better when you put heaps of pics of pretty much the same thing doesn't it?? haha bit better pic of the front end

  12. G'day, have got a bit done over the last week, was away for the weekend, have made up the x member, so gearbox is mounted up where it goes, old gearstick hole has been covered, the whole front end is back together ready for wheels to go on, but i'm enjoying looking at it for now haha, dad and i got most of the wiring tidied up back in place, starting to looks pretty good :y: x member mods, it didn't have the dip in the middle, and on the front i didn't cut down as much for a bit of strength, just have to paint it. after atleast 6 hours of cleaning i finally got to paint it, they were so ridiculously dirty haha, sorry about the crappy pics haha, too dark for my phone will get some more pics tomorrow of wiring and crap
  13. hey mate, no worries, yeah hopefully will see it, but later this year i'll be moving to the vic saloon car series, just racing in the sprints until i finish building my car. here's my build thread if you want to take a look, cheers Glen http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/60834-vt-race-car-brake-upgrade-saloon-car-build/page__st__165
  14. yeah, its a bit gay, every thing on the car that i have had to buy has cost a fortune as its all control stuff, could have built the car to be faster than a saloon car at about half the price of what it cost, but it will be worth it when its done :y:
  15. yeah they run a custom calliper mount bracket, a control piece from davey metal industries in melbourne that cost $100, yeah that will be cool, god i love your torana haha
  16. that looks pretty cool, should be a fun little thing when its done, i like the look of the finished car you put up, iv'e seen your ke20 at winton, i race at the sprints in my grey vt racecar, i love your ke20 it looks awesome!
  17. how much is target paying you? haha, looking like a drift car now man, i like it :D
  18. thats awesome guys, great work!
  19. looks great
  20. nah had no money left for discs etc, stupid bills have good timing.... and spent a bit on the corona too, hopefully i'll get the rest of the bits in the next week or two
  21. just saw this on fb this morning, looks sick mate
  22. haha, thanks mate, gonna look trick when its done i think
  23. haha, look again just added another pic
  24. G;day again, got all the black painted around the outside of the engine bay, cleaned the water pump and painted the pulley, alternator and fuel pump, and polished the thermostat housing, buffed the engine bay, dropped the motor in. Cleaned the bellhousing and painted it black as i CBF cleaning it enough to leave un painted, and didn't have silver, then i lifted the gearbox up into place and bolted it to the motor, fits in the tunnel well, i have to cut the shifter hole back a bit as it was the old style 4 speed, x member looks like it will go close too, the auto one is further back than manual x member, although it has both mounting positions standard. Starting to look pretty good i think
