G'day, i got the re-boring done at benalla engine reconditioners for $275, the pistons were $460, and i got acl race series gasket for $50ea, they are thinner than normal ones but still standard style to go with saloon cars rules, then sent the other stuff over to automotive super balance in shepparton, they did it for $200, he went pretty nuts on it too and did a nice job so should be good, and me and dad are putting it all together, just can't do the machine work as don't have the tools haha

hello, thought i'd put a few pics up. the consol fits pretty well, need to make a gearstick boot, and some nice new silver paint around the line will make it look better and sould go with the dash well. still gotta mount it up, i think it should look good when its all done propperly?

yeah would look cool, as i have 16s though i don't need to lower it heaps, looks low but still has good ground clearance which is nice where i live haha

i need to make some 2" lowering blocks for my corona, its only got 1" at, would look good a bit lower, cars looking great mate

hey mate, looks like fun, i drove at the august 18th sprints there for the first time, such a good track, can't wait to go back again, nice pics there, cars are looking great!

thought i'd put some pics up of the block, doesn't seem to have much interest but i guess it is a commodore haha, will put some pics up of the rest of the bottom end when i'm putting it together. would be putting it together, but i'm to busy getting square eyes watching bathurst stuff haha

haha, yeah i like a bit of strech, more like the front though, just a little bit, but thats just me haha, looks tuff as though, haha yeah my coronas sorta the same, its got 16's on the front with 205s and a sports steering wheel makes it hard, and thats with a stock front end setup haha

G'day peoples.. picked my bottom end up last week, came up great, new pistons look nice too, just picked up the crank flywheel pistons etc etc from getting balanced, he seemed to do a nice job and took a fair bit of meat off too, so should be sweet, will start putting it together soon and get it sealed :P

love this thing, looks sick haha, wheels fit under nice with that diff, are you gonna run a touch wider rear tyres now or stay with those ones? cheers

helloooooooooooo, got a few more things done today, finally vinyl sprayed the last brown parts in the car today, yeah yeah its only taken me like 3 years haha, didn't get pics so will try to get a few tomorrow, seats are still brown with seatcovers on them, but think i want different seats, or atleast rt81 high back buckets, i have some in my blue corona but don't wanna use them as its got pretty nice complete interior, will sort something out soon though. bye

yesterday was awesome, took the old girl down to the euroa show and shin, was 200+ cars there, put the corona in, had a surprising amount of looks and people asking about it, there was some rich bloke who had a hq gts coupe, 68 corvette and another monaro, and he said he has one and thinks they are awesome haha. the day before the show i pulled the 5 speed out and put the w40 in, the 5 speed was about to lunch as it was all rusty inside.... then at 10pm the night before i sprayed the kingswood console black, came up awesome, gave the car a good clean up, looking pretty good i must say :y:
