yeah really i want an identical box for it i think nickz might have one for me... the diff is holding up fine so far, i think the gearbox will break again before the diff, the box is easily the weakest link, all the shit it has to withstand lol cheers Brendan

cool, i have a ke30 4 speed in it now but blew that to the shithouse i was slightly hard on it tho.. i have 2x ke10 4 speeds in the shed, and can get hold of a ke70 box, just wondering what would be best to do cheers Brendan

Want to know if a ke70 5 speed will bolt onto a 3k... also how long would a ke10 4 speed last with 135bhp and a brass button clutch..would it last one track day if i try baby it... cheers Brendan

I'm pretty sure u can tow i wouldnt worry too much about that part of the law, the coon will do it too... i hire a car trailer from BP up here in ulverstone for 24 hours for track days and thats just under 50 bucks if thats any help... u would use 100 in fuel too... just remember when towing a car no fast movements with the wheel or throttle or brake, and it takes twice as far to stop! lol cheers Brendan

so i could get any L series motor and it will bolt up? cause the enigne is mounted in the back like your average buggy and bolts to a volkswagon (i think)gear box thru a custom adaptor plate i have heard different motors like l18 and l20 have different number of bolts on the flywheel and therefore aren't the same... if they are all the same then i should be able to get any L series motor and it will bolt straight up? cheers
