  1. Thanks man, i appreciate your interest. Nah it's the Ford GT Blood Orange, it looks a bit different in those pics it's actually a real deep redy orange! Not quite finished painting tho, got to put a top coat of clear on! I'm stoaked, it's coming together really well! They're RA40 Struts with K-MAC adjustable camber, they also allow for more clearance so i can fit my 17's on without them hitting the struts! :D I just added you to MSN.
  2. Hey guys i've wanted to share this with you guys for a while now just been flat out busy! Some of you may know i bought thrillers panel van back around new year. After procrastinating for a while a mate convinced me to sell him the shell as he's been looking for a pano for yrs to make a rolla ute! I'll keep ya posted on that one! So basically i kept all the good stuff, motor, box, brakes, wiring & ecu and done a complete swap into my coupe! So i thought i'd share it with you guys! Firstly a few photo's Gotta love WD40 Old brakes New brakes No Engine :hmm: New Engine! :P Got more photo's to post, just got to upload em! She is 90% complete, motor's running I pulled out the complete wiring harness from both rolla's and swaped them over along with everything else and it fired first go! I was pretty stoaked, thought i'd definately run into trouble there as electricals isn't my thing! I'll keep you guys posted on my ride now i'm not so busy! Got heaps more to share with ya'll

  4. Thanks guys but i've already got my 17's ready to go on! :hmm: I got my hands on another fuel tank. Put her in the other day and took her for a spin round the block, she hasn't left the backyard in years, anyway brakes were a bit spundgy so i bled them and took her for another spin! All fixed!!! Just gotta do a few things to get her passed for blue slip, change the springs back to standard height, a bit of rust and i'm waiting on a flasher can from melbourne darn thing carcked it! Anyway here are some pics Away we go!!! :) and back again letting the mrs drive, scary haha time to put her away, get out the way mum.... I'll keep ya posted!!
  5. Cool, thanks mate. Yeah wreckers would be the best option. I've rang every wreckers around my area and even further and they all tell me its to old! :y: Might have to go to toyota!
  6. I got the same problem, spoke to an auto electrian, he didn't have anything like it, he said that inside the old flasher there's 2 units, 1 for hazards and 1 for blinkers, so we tried bridging 2 new cans to the plug. No luck! :2thumbs: Looks like i'm in the same boat! Did you order the flasher through toyota?
  7. Wooooow!!!!! That looks HOT! Great job mate, Love the colour. :)
  8. Awesome rolla dude. I love the way you kept it looking original, hubcaps, whitewalls, sunvisor... yet underneath the hood its party time!!! ha ha ha.. can't wait to see more vids, keep us posted! :)

  11. Thanks man, its that orange you see on all the gt falcon's getting around, pretty sure it's called blood orange. Still needs a clear coat though! It'll look a lot nicer when its done
  12. Hey all i'm new to this club and just wanted to show off my ride. I've had her for a while and thought it was time for a change of colour! Tell me what ya think! Here's some pics of the progression over the year! Here's what she used to look like Away we go! Thought i'd relocate the blinkers and even upgrade them!!! The first touch of colour!! And here she is, still a bit more work to do but 99% complete The Donk hahaha, my 5k i bought off a mate, had a bit of troubles getting her to go. First the lifters were bumped up, then the tank was filthy so the carbie kept getting blocked but now she fires first go! Many weekends spent wrecking my brain trying to diagnose her but i finally got there!!! Got a few more plans for her, set of 17" chromies, some artwork, new interior and custom dash! I'll be doing all this myself in the near future just had to get her on the road first! What do ya reckon???
  13. I got her running yesterday but still had to drop fuel down the carb, checked the timing and i could only just see the mark on the pulley right down the bottom about 40 dgrs advanced so i had to time it by ear. I had it running sweet till tonight i tried kicking it over and still nothing, :) tried dropping fuel down the carb and she fired but soon after died. I put a new few pump on a while ago and the spacers on too, theres pressure in the line. I just don't think it's getting fuel through the carb. Couldn't see as it was getting dark! Think it may be time for a new manifold and carb or weber! Do you think the cam could be too big and therefor not enough manifold vacuum to draw the Fuel??? :)
  14. Cool thanks guys i'll test the compression I checked the timing, thought it may have jumped a tooth, but its all sweet. Not sure if there's a vacuum leak, i've put a kit through the carbie tho i'm thinking of getting a weber.
  15. Hi all, just wondering if anyone can help me out. I bought a 5k off an old friend a while ago and just put it in my ke35 and i'm having problems getting it running. The 5k has a modified cam, not sure on the specs, and its having troubles starting. There's not much manifold vacuum and i don't know if it's due to the cam or the carbie??? The only way i can get it started is to pour fuel down the carbie! it runs but coughs n splutters and backfire's through the carbie then just stalls. I checked the point & plug gaps they're fine but the timing is way past 20 dgrs for it to run. The tank is old and so the fuel don't look great, tried flushing it a few times but not much success! Can the dirty fuel be the cause of the backfires and stalling or is it the manifold vacuum??? What could be the cause of the low manifold vacuum??? Does the timing change because of the cam??? :)
