The speedo drive screwed right in with no worries, all that was needed to do was the hole in the floor moved back 70mm or so and the Gearbox crossmember redrilled and that was it for cutting and drilling. :wink: :) -
What do you want out of the car ? Do you want it to kill 6 cylinders or just cruise around with a little bit of power ? If it was mine i would like to put a 3SGTE in it to get some real power happening or make a fully worked 5K to keep it as original as possible but still have some balls. Cheers Des. :wink: :)

2.6's arnt a very rev happy motor and the mitsi 2.0Ltr wasnt very happy with high revs either unless you spend a bit of money on them, Put a 4agze in it or a monster 5k, but since you want to drift 4agte ? Twin cam for the win. Putting a mitsubishi motor in a toyota is just NO.......... NO but its your car so do with it what you feel you want.

Be carefull locking them, A fire could come up and you might not be able to open it in time to extinguish the flames.

That is definatly one unique KE70, As teddy said much respect.

If you drive a KE70 with stock bumpers you wont need to worry about there head getting anywhere near the bonnet, the bumpers are just so big. :wink:

Vaccum leak ?. Ive got a 4afc and when it had a vaccum leak it reved up and down at idle.

I was down there in a drift spec r32 skyline, An asshole of a mate took my licence and i couldnt get into and pubs or clubs, So we went home threw an extended route....... I don't drive down there anymore so i hitch a ride with freinds.

I don't know if they are legal but dad always had them on his cortina's back in the day and a couple of my mates cars have passed rwc with bonnet pins so.....

I pulled the clutch master out of my half cut today so i can dispose of the cut. mum wasnt to happy about my ways of moving the cut around the yard :hmm: .

I bought spring compressors to get the springs out, Just cheap nasty ones and the f**ked up so foz at goodyear is doing that one for me and i might try the vice grips tomorrow on the other.

The front lip spoiler didnt fit it was to long so i gave it back. I started on my front adjustable coilover conversion today and pulled the struts apart as much as i could. This is where I'm stuck, That nut at the top of the strut wont undo and when i try and undo it the whole insert turns and its very anoying, Anybody have a suitable way around it ?

Yea your ke30 will clear it fine but my seca wont and shanes ke55 wouldnt have a hope in hell of clearing it, If we do it I'm catching a ride in lolla. EDIT: Ripley rd goes from the back of ceder grove (near Beaudesert) and goes to the centenery highway close to Yamanto.
