  1. I'm in.
  2. Heck yes. That looks f@$king awesome buddy.
  3. Ditto. The V6's are cheap torque, Cheap parts, but are a heavy engine, Cast block and heads, Lots of problems some cheap to fix others expensive.
  4. VN's are dirt cheap opposed to a VS or VT. VS on have an electric gearbox's which makes wiring even harder.
  5. Coilover suspension for your KE70 will run into the thousands easy. Lower it all round, Not just one end. King springs or lovells in their "low" form will be fine. A little bit stiffer than stock but not back breaking either, Not to low but you MIGHT need to roll your guards as it might touch the tires on hard corners. Replacing the bushes with superpro or nolathane bushes (buyer preference) is recommended too as it will change the feel and handling for the better.
  6. Tein don't make adjustable coil overs for a KE70. Adjustable coil overs are useless unless you know how to set them up and adjust them properly which 90% of the people who have them don't know how. If you want just go low king springs or lovells if you want to keep it respectable and relatively cheap. What do you want from the car ?
  7. Yup, Thats it. Looks good. Any plans to get it lower to the ground ?
  8. I feel sorry for you, Living near Beaudesert :( jokes, Its not that bad. I'm pretty sure it was your ute i spotted doing a massive one wheel skid near jimboomba ?
  9. That is a K series motor. Look on the block, It will have either K, 3K, 4K, 5K or 7K. It might be written on a plate on the firewall too.
  10. Got any pics to see how much they fill the guards, Like from the front of the car pointing down the side ?
  11. In Australia KE20 corolla's had a 3K which is a 1200cc push rod 4 cylinder. It will have a number and letter on the block, Back of the block near the gearbox on the distributor side.
  12. Looks good mate.
  13. Those tires are wrong for the rims One the tires are 14 inch and the rims are 15 inch. 195/50/15 will sit on the rim better than a 205, You can do better than maxxis for that price. That wheel balance price is a bit expensive but i get mine done for free so...

I'm a 1st year apprentice mechanic but i think i will be doing my tafe at Logan or somewhere up here. How many months did you do before you started tafe ?
  17. Just me now. I can pick up love ke70 if need be ?
  18. rims size, width offset. tire size, profile and width.
  19. Get more details for us.
  20. Tell him $250 a rim is the max you want to pay without tires or $1400 fitted with a half decent tires.
  21. $1600 is a bit much, You can buy the rims for under $1000 new and tires are about $100 each for half decent ones.
  22. Yes its acid coz it took the polish off the floor at work and the fluid was only a week or two old. don't know what it is, Will take a look tomorrow. Thinners might help ?
  23. We have a parts "washing machine" at work that spins things fast and uses hot water with some acid to clean parts. Cleaned out all the metal filings and redline oil from a diff center today and took the paint off my cam covers.
  24. 15's are my max on any rolla pre AE92
  25. Also work wonders on making your wallet empty for no good reason. 20w50 or even 25w50 semi synthetic is all thats needed.
