  1. Wont bolt in, I believe the sump is different and the motor is taller due to the stoke of the engine. 5k is bolt in if you looking for a bolt in upgrade.
  2. Upright k motor kit, The mounts to upright it and the manifold plate to rectify the massive angle the carby's/exhaust would normally be on.
  3. 4AFE or 7AFE 1.6 or 1.8 ?
  4. Using water ? Radiator water bubble when its sitting still missing ? Steam out of the oil cap just after its been stopped, When warm ? Could be a small leak in the head gasket causing the miss.
  5. wow 1 kw, Would feel just the same as the engine running :y:

Just bought a Snap-on seal puller and a blue-point magnet thingy. The rims i bought for my corolla are egged shape so I'm going to get my money back and keep my alloys for a while longer.
  7. Yes you need a mod plate as your changing the seating capacity. Must remove all seats and seat belts, Seeing as your boot will become the cabin as well this rules out surge tanks or any high pressure lines running in the boot.

Haven't broken anything yet, Its bound to break sooner or later. Id rate them 8/10, Price is good, Quality is good, The only down side is most people have to buy it from repco as a special order.

Wasted some money today, About $450 that wasn't mine |blink| Sp extra long ring spanners, SP reversible ratchet spanners, SP air 3/8 stubby air ratchet and a mirror on a stick. All i need to buy is some chisels, pry bars and pipe spanners and I'm set for a while. When the engine is out its getting: New Kyb dampers all round. Rebuilt bottom end, Balanced. Removing Cd player and speakers, don't use it as much as i thought i would. Removing back seats and seat belts, Then mod plating. Removing rear door trims and boot trims. Re welding my rear strut brace coz it looks like bird s##t. Removing air con pump and other affiliated gear. Removing power steering pump and just running the lines from the reservoir to the rack, Pump is f##ked. Tomorrow I'm fitting 15x6 2003 corolla stock rims.
  10. In a corolla ? ALOT.
  11. Takes 17 or so lazy shits to do a 8 man job *sigh* Todays ship.
  12. There is more money in that boot than there is in my whole car. |blink|

Ditto. Would you be able to get some engine bay shots please ?
  15. What can you expect, They are a work ute not a luxury car. We found a dead rat in the air cleaner of our V6 jigga.
  16. What makes people go under the speed limit beside each other, Move mother f@$kers I'm working.
  17. Thats a 1st ive heard bad about them. We don't have the turd models but our V6 hilux's and 2.7 seem to be bullet proof. Loaded up with 1.3 tonne 24/7, The only problem we have is the 2.7's don't have much bottom end. The old 2.7's seem to make spigot bearings shit them selves quick.

So the fun begins. I now have a spare oil pump, oil cooler sandwich plate, timing gear.
  19. You take notice of how hairy people are ?
  20. Not me, Thats Brucey, Good bloke.
  21. My pics from the motor show. I also spotted one of my high school teachers and Teddy + many many good looking females, The chicks in the black dresses at the Mitsubishi section :) I helped build that car.
  22. Too late i bitched, I have driven one when RACQ bought it to see if it would be a decent fleet car, Notice they only bought 1, Not the worst car but certainly not the best, Would rather my ae82 twincam but thats me.
  23. Same.

I dance for any one, Male female i don't care just as long as they pay. Wouldn't trade this car for anything at the moment. I think the total cost including the car is about $2460 with rebuilt head, tires, cd players, gaskets, head studs, struts, rego, oils/filters, rwc and add another 1000 for the rebuilt bottom end. So roughly $3460, I don't think its too bad seeing as you wont find another one with the same gear.
