  1. There is a set on there to suit a datto for $600 with manifold and ram tubes, My mates are just the carbies, No tubes or manifold so i was thinking $450 to $500 or i could buy his rebuilt 45's for $1000 but i can't justify 1k for carbies.
  2. Hey Hey, A mate bought another 18rg thats f@$ked so i have a chance to buy the 40mm weber's from it. They ran but had a few flat spots down low, So they would need jetting down to suit a 5k and a tune as well. Comes with linkages that are home made but work well. What are they worth ? Des :)
  3. lol. I called it a Coupe and some one told me it was a 2 door sedan, Well 2 people now but i don't care. Went and checked the master cylinder from a 1977 LB lancer 2 door and it has the same bolt in pattern as the ke10 item so that looks like a go ahead. Des :D
  4. Spent about an hour outside today. I need longer studs. 13" alloy jelly beans Will be running these for a while. Grille. 18 rims and tires, 14 of them fit my Corona ;) Yup Inverted jellybeans = dish and loads of negative offset but not safe. I'm sure this isn't legal
  5. Maybe this should go back on topic before it gets locked. RB into *E7*, Not SR or CA or 3S or 202 or what ever else people have in their sheds. Des ;)
  6. Since i don't own a running rolla at the moment i will go from my ae82 seca. It had super lows in the rear and lows in the front and it handled pretty well in the dry for a fwd, In the wet it under steered a lot. I had the inside rear wheel off the ground on really hard corners, The outside rear wheel on hard corners would touch the inner guard and smoke but like i said only on really hard corners. I know its not a rolla but my Corona handles very well considering its weight. It has standard height heavy duty King springs all round, That tends to over steer more than anything but meh. Des ;)

    Test And Tune

I get paid on the 21st so I'm still good. Des ;)
  9. Smallport and bigport fuel rails are different so it will help to use the right one but both can be used but the wrong one will cause the injectors to be on a lean and i don't think thats good for the seals. I think the small bearing journel cranks are 6 bolt where the flywheel bolts up but I'm not sure, Have a quick look and if its 8, If its 8 any 4age flywheel will bolt up except early 6 bolt ones. 20v blacktop has the lightest flywheel so find one of them if ya can. 4agze flywheels wont fit in the t50 housing so thats not really viable. I wouldnt use any 4ac internals, Easy enough to find the right stuff. The computer should run it fine coz i know of a few smallports running bigport computers. Des ;)
  10. *Cough GO QLD cough*
  11. If its a ae93 SX seca it would be a small port 4age.
  12. Compared to the other cars i drive at work ie, Hyundai accent, Yaris, Elantra, Magna, Gets, 2005-2006 Corolla's and a new Hiace van, The Corolla kills all of those listed but yeah i haven't driven any thing from Honda except dads mower. Des :no2: PS: The Hiace goes quite well but handles like a boat but you get that from a van.
  13. In my new job i get to drive new Toyota's, And i got to drive the new 2007 Corolla, Yaris, Camry and other makes like Hyundai Mitsubishi and maybe some fords soon. The 2007 Corolla sedan. Looks more like a camry to me and is a bit bigger. Dual VVT-i 1.8 Ours are auto's but I'm suprised how good a 4 cylinder auto can go. Picks up pretty dam well for an auto, I'd definatly buy one in a manual. The have a normal accelerator not like the yaris. Comment ?
  14. Well since i started my new job i don't have much time to work on the 10 or even get online much, 14 hour days bite bigtime but the pay is worth it. Since we have had rain my car cover leaked and the interior of the 10 is wet so i bought a water proof one and it got humid inside and now every thing is mouldy
  15.
  16. I definitely wont be staying with 12's, I have 13's with good tires but they arnt the look i want. I'm not to fussed on handling as it wont be driven every day but i don't want sills scraping on the ground either. I want 13's with white walls and hubcaps or a decent set of non stock rims.
  17. We have had 27mm here, Its not raining now but its still very wet. My Corona is having trouble getting traction to move from the back yard to the front, Dam inclines.
  18. Sounds good Trevor, Might have to drop around Friday night and check out the progress in person. Des :P
  19. *Slaps 7shades* Just need to get the rotors machined, Get new wheel bearings, Lancer master cylinder and put it all together and i will be happy with the braking side of things. Going to replace the rear bearings too. Then its on to the suspension. I'm thinking of just going with KYB excel G dampers to suit Ke30 struts and using the spacer as shown in this thread. Ke20/30/55 inserts to ke10 struts. And Custom king springs, Because i want the car to be really low i will probably need a much higher spring rate spring than the stock springs to stop it bottoming out. For the rear i was thinking of Flipping the top spring and inverting the mounting eyes and adding 1 more leaf to get some more stiffness out of it. Again with KYB excel G dampers. Will be replacing all bushes and ball joints as well. Suggestions on suspension from people who have had some experience are welcomed ?
  20. All i can suggest is the bike method of splitting it up, 2 main problems with them is the are tight and the can pop and if they were in a car and popped no more driving.

    Corona

They validate every person that registers, Might take a few days.
  22. Brakes arrived today, Did a test fit but i need to get new bolts for the calipers and hubs.
  23. Its been raining in Beaudesert for about 14 hours non stop. The little front wheel of the boat is starting to sink.

    Corona

I was quoted $160 for a custom pair from Goodyear but my father worked there for a long time so... I don't know if its straight in but Ive read on toymods of a few people doing it. Des :P
