From my half arsed measurements they will poke through a bit but meh.
The heads should be allright but they will be getting skimed a tad and crack tested just incase.
When the speedo reads 180+ and your at a walking pace its a sight that has to be seen to be believed, If you are a Brisbane resident you will be hearing me again soon. I think the fastest car ive beaten is a VE omega or some shit anyway a bit off topic.
sr20de is well worth it man, A mate has sr20de in a ke20 and it hasn't been beaten yet.
2 inch should be cheap and go unnoticed.
yes my Corona is a 6 and i love it.
6,000 rpm is about where the valves springs let it go, But the tacho on my stock 4k said 9750rpm so...
Cheap half decent tacho would be a speco meter one with a shift light built in, I have one on my Corona and it works a treat. About $130 new for 3 1/4 inch i think.
Upgrade to a 5 speed (K50) which will save ya some money in petrol, Not much but a bit, Twin dellorto 40mm carbies will sound awesome and run heaps better than the stock asian carby.
For more power i would go:
Extractors with 2 inch exhaust.
Twin 40mm weber's or dellorto's
A cam will help but isn't necessary.
A nikki carby from a mazda or gemmy fits with slight mods aswell, Read the FAq for more info on that one.
About $1500 worth of gear there alone so the budget is long gone.
Believe it or not but the 4k can actually beat other cars.
Your ke70 should have a 1.3 4k, A 1.5 5k is easy but good engines go for about $500.
The mighty 4k responds well to mods, Twin carbs, Head shave and a Cam will make it get up and go.
Now where did that Justin fella go  He knows his 4k's.
T18's have a steering box, Ke70 have a rack and pinion. Big drama's there but you can over come them with a welder and some skill.
They have a 3T as well but your close Justin
I thought ke20's were disc brake ?
But if you want disc brakes you need Ke20 disc brake hubs, rotors, backing plates, Calipers, brake lines.
I have the whole kit here for sale, If ya interested PM me.
Des
No spark ? Pull a lead off and hold it on the head while some one cranks it over, If ya feel the spark or see a blue spark maybe something else is wrong. What was the last thing ya did to the engine ?
In QLD if its a single tone horn then its legal if mounted properly etc but if its a multi tone horn ie makes more than one noise its illegal, Thats what i was told by my road worthy inspector.
its not really blown but it is leaking oil into the water but its not even noticeable on the dip stick, Still runs fine/Doesn't over heat and no bubbling in the water so it can't be to bad. I drove it home from country NSW.
