  1. Hey Hey, Well i finally got my Ke10 home today. 1st things 1st, RUST has a bit but luckily my uncle is Welder by trade and has a MIG and TIG setup at his joint so it doesn't worry me to much. No chassis rust just panels and front sills. No rust around the fuel filler which is good. Some parts are missing but most of the main parts are there. Des :bash:
  2. So long story short. Pro's: You get a more predictable slide. All the hektic drifters will think your uber cool. Con's: Stress on drive line. Tire wear. Defectable Insurance wont cover you if they know you have it and will most likely find out if you smash the car and try and make a claim. If your trying to lay low ie not attract attention to yourself a locker will not help a single bit. Lock it at your own risk, We will let you make up your own mind. Des :bash:
  3. The Trading post is good.
  4. I found the Yaris to be better than the Hyundai gets, The Gets has some poke in 1st but as soon as you hit 2nd the inspiration goes out the window.
  5. You have to be a bit careful pulling hoses off as the carby might need them to operate properly, Find a Gregory's ae71 manual and go over the pollution gear and work out whats needed and what isn't needed. Des :sob:

  7. I think its a turbo 202 ?
  8. The Corona pump out flows the VL when both arnt under load but when under load the VL shits all over it, But the Corona pump would normally be pushing against a 2.5 bar regulator not a 3 bar item. So i have a new VL pump as the old one was making weird noises. Also VP engines can use the oil pressure switch to switch the fuel pump so if the relay blows the pump will still run but only when the engine has oil pressure. The previous owner just had both pumps wired from the oil pressure switch which meant i had to manually prime the pumps for the car to start easier. Darren rewired it to a new relay as it should be not just the oil pressure switch. Each pump has its own wiring now not just one thin wire powering both pumps :sob: We wired up the boot popper solenoid and when i hit the switch it fried itself and now the solenoid is stuck open so its shot and i need another one. Des  PS: He is coming back after i get my license back to do some more tinkering.
  9. Looks awesome, Might i ask what rims are those ? Des :sob:
  10. You have to pull apart most of the dash and drill new holes in the fire wall, Time consuming but not that difficult.
  11. Didnt get time to hook his laptop back, He should be back again tomorrow or the next day. The stock Corona EFI pressure pump is flowing more than the VL pressure pump. :sob:
  12. http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?title=Manual_Gearbox Have a read. Des :sob:
  13. Lol, I will get a screen shot off his laptop and show you how many variables there are and the original binery that the Delco sends out.
  14. Very common, In every VN and VP. The only thing stopping people from grabing them over microtech's is they are very hard to understand, So many variables. Vn have seperate computer for manual and auto but Vp has the one computer for both. Alot of car company's use the same computer as VN/VP but have a different Memcal to suit that engine.
  15. Nope my tuner is running 10 psi from a whipple screw supercharger and alot of people turbo these motors coz they have low compression standard. The head gaskits like to blow at around 10 pound so he found out 3 times. The Delco can flick on or off anything from an RPM counter, So shift light, water injection, Intercooler sprayers etc but i don't how Vvt or Vtec is triggerd ?
  16. Long wheel base vitara's have a G16B engine so you can steal one from them aswell. Des :sob:
  17. Speed senser has been put on hold as it might not be needed now. I have found a AC DELCO computer tuner and he is going to mask the fault code so the check engine light wont come on for the code any more. Also adjusting the stepper motor's set imcriment points under 5kph so it bumps the idle up a bit to compensate for the lose of the closed loop idle mode. Also spent alot of time tuning mine last night, From 7pm to 8am this morning and more to go tonight. I need a new lift pump as it can't flow enough for the engine now as the pressure pump is getting air pockets in the line and you can hear it when it hits a bit of air. He also mentioned that AC DELCO computers with the 808 version can run V12 jags, 6 cylinder jags, EFI Camira's, 4ke, 7ke well alot of other engines that are efi. AC DELCO computers have more variables than a microtech so can be adjusted to alot of other engines and still using some of the Holden maps. Sv5000 commodore ignition map with slight changes runs a 5.3 litre V12 jag very well. Des :sob:
  18. Just ordered a speed sensor so it wont be hunting at idle and the revs at 100kph will drop a bit aswell. Also getting a remap :D
  19. One day. Since my last update ive replaced the indercators and the inner driving lights with newer items. Also lined up the lights properly so I'm not Koala spotting now. Custom tail shaft. Melber rims.
  20. Hey Hey, I'm in need of a retrimmer, To do a dash pad and seats etc. Does anybody know of a reputable business that does good work in Brisbane, Gold coast or a little bit up the Sunny coast. I don't want a freind of a freind of a freind sorta thing, Legit Business's only. Des :D
