  1. To remove the rear seats you need a mod plate, if you can see the inside of the doors expect a defect, If you remove the carpet wires must be covered by other means, Sound deadening can be removed but normal driving becomes a ear ache.
  2. Yes happy birthday buddy. Des :jamie:
  3. Could it be a K to W bellhousing ?
  4. Coz its a KE10 we need as many of these as possible around, less likely to kill it with 5k than a 13bt or 4agte.
  5. The ae92 will either be a 100kw smallport 4AGE, 4AFE or a 4AFC. 4AGE is obviously the most powerfull of the 3 but $1500 seems to make me think its a 4AFE/FC. Either way its still cheap if its in good nick.
  6. 5k. Keep it a K motor.
  7. I can meet people at springwood crazy clarks, Drive to Beaudesert through GOOD back roads and then out to the track ? Is a good drive through the sticks with cows and and the odd deer.
  8. He means a cruise before the test and tune. I'm thinking :jamie:
  9. What diff is he using coz RWD lancer diffs are mighty thin as in not very wide to give better stability ?
  10. Are they of legal tread depth or burnout tires coz i allready have 18 rims all with tires piled up behind the shed, But either way i will take them :jamie:
  11. Check around the button on the steering wheel and the connector ring behind the wheel.
  12. I'm 90% sure thats a LA lancer.
  13. I think they do but I'm not 100% on that. I need tires with a lower profile for the fronts, 205/65/R15 is to big for a Corona. Neally takes the 1/4 panel off when ya turn. 205/55/R15 for the front is still reasonable.
  14. Which is going to be easier though and all be done under budget. Commodore motors have heaps more parts available + loads of bolt on kits. http://www.capa.com.au/kits_holden_vnvy_v6.htm A bit expencive though :jamie:
  15. For the wieght of this car the 3.8 is just under the maximum size, Well so i have been told anyway. Legal engine swaps for the win.
  16. The Te51 looks tough as with the fats. :jamie:
  17. *Eagerly awaits ride* Thats right your taking me for a run :)
  18. I can't really spot anything but i have a bad habit of missing certain details, Take it to Goodyear or similar and ask them to check it out.
  19. Ballast resistor cracked or old shitty looking ? Pull a lead off when its running and see what colour the spark is, Should be a white/Blue You might need a pair of insulated pliers to pull a lead off with it hurting.
  20. On the way home from picking it up it split a radiator hose at Underwood so while i was replacing that at AutObahn some fella walked past had a quick look and then looked again and said "Thats not a 22r, I bet she fly's now". I just nodded my head. Also after fixing the hose and leaving Underwood at a set of lights there was a dirt bike infront of us, Lights went green and he took off so we sat behind him and he gave it some more and so did we and we kept up, As we slowly passed him later on we got the nod. EDIT: can't wait to get my licence back.
  21. It might :) I think Ancullen is after Toyota power. :sob:
  22. I reckon the wheels match the era of the car.
  23. Hey Hey, Since i sold the Ke70 i have bought a Rt142 corona. It is going to be my daily when i get my licence back in 4 weeks and the project cars too well sorta. Has the same rims as millers Ke35 :) Des
  24. What model Corona are you thinking ?
  25. I will be going on the 23rd June and enter my time with my corona, But i wouldnt have the slightest idea of what it will pull.
