the welder borke down... something electrical.. than dad fixed it... then it broke again... ... :( anyways, new plate here :) thats all i got to weld on this one before it stoped... made and welded on 2 mudflap mounts mudflaps <3

thanks :) its 0.8 mm thick.. not so heavy, ill find out how heavy it is later ;) yeah , bought some fish eyes ( the adjusters) on ebay for 20 bucks :D they are super handy !

thanks guys! done some more new plates the exhaust notch is a bit too long, but i don't care! :P no more rust here or here took off my front spoiler and welded on some plates hmmm welded and grinded' painted quick... need some bog..

thanks Done some more today, filled the holes here, only need to make the outer panel... the grinded welds is done yesterday, extremly happy with the result :D the fresh welds is all made today :) over the exhaust . was extremly rusty getting closer to my goal

behind the rear wheel :) cut out the plates new plates and thats all i managed to to today :)

Done! my welds are getting better, even tho i don't really know how to weld... had a 10 min course then i set of learning myself... rust cut out moar rust, need to cut out more here :P and then the back panel "nagasaki" currently been working on both my bikes... the ones in the pic... one needs a new rear wheel bearing and the other one needs new sprockets and chain..+ lots of small things :P

done some more :) mmhhhhh the rusty bar is only taped to see how it would look :) one pleased me! with a bit to small car...

thanks :) looks like I'm going for a full cage :) reinforced the floor :) and made 2 plates, witch ill use as foots for the front legs :)

reinforced the foor found some feet for the first bar welded them on bolted in started making some bars that will go bakwards and down towards the trunk..

striped the interior did not get the bakcseat out.. how do i do it ? started making a cage aswell.. thinking i need to make something like this?

bah... gave up the 5r and the turbo for now... maybe ill go back to that later but not now, ... for now i have put the 1,2 back inn.. started fixing rust on the other side, holy fu*k this car is rusty! took off the door for easy accses put in some plates on the undeside , only dot welded and then a plate on the top.. note: this wleding is not done, iv just dot welded it ... iv also added a coupple of more switches to my instrument panel.. i love the inside of my 20!

anyone got some info on turbocharging a 5R ? / turbo on carb cars in general . i don't want a drw trough type... i want a the carb after the turbo so i can have a intercooler , then i will need to make a pressure pox for the carb, but how is it with the jetting etc? will i need a new carb ? :) anyone got some info? :)

brought a propper camera to the garage today :) made a little instrument panel... going to add more lots of space for more :) thinking of placing it here... Then I'm thinking of moving the battery to the trunk and then laying a cable through the car with a main switch in the instrument panel. both for safety rasons and in case of anything using power when its not suposted to :) what do you think?

welded some mounts for my chin spoiler adjusters :) welded and primed the right fender :) done with all the rust removing on the right side of the body :D :y:

painted and added cibie stickers started welding on the front fender if you look at the pic above you se a hole in the upper left corner ... gone now matalpaint need to take the engine bay when i take the engine out again... but maybee il do it with spray cans insted of a brush.. made mounts for the mudflaps on the right side then i painted it all white with metal paint test fitted the extra lights

further more cutting and welding had no more "clean" metal so had to use some used metal :) JDM welding :P done i have to trim of some of the inner thing there.. its a bit to wide :) changed the fuel pump, managed to snap a brass onection instide one of the holes... :) made a new , heavy duty throttle wire holder still have to modify a bit where the wire is attached... had no more plate for this hole :( got my extra lights thinking of painting them white and adding these cibie stickers ? :) any thoughs? ony missing a thread tap and 1 conection to move the oil filter .... :)

ahh, soo nice! is that oil for the shocks :o ? ! you are doing a good job, let just hope it lives a long life after its finished :D would be a shame to hurt this little beauty! how much have this costed you in total ? :) keep them good news coming!

thanks :D done some more :D conected up all the cooling also done all theimportant wires , just need to turn the key to start it converted the carb to wire, used to thin plates so it bends, needs to do this again... oil lines arried.. but they where to big... so ill go for plan B :) started welding a bit more today painted the areas where i had sanded or welded , so it was bare metal, white... all finished here onyl missing the plates behind the rear wheel and the front fender.. exited to start on this one :D

oil filter was in the middle of the engine mount... made 2 plates, one to bolt to the filter and one to the block , then I'm gonna run 10an oil hoses betwwen them :) made new engine mounts found some parts this does not fit in the corolla diff.... its from a crown, ( similar car as the engine is off) the manifold had cracked , needed a new one... found 2 "new" manifolds fitted the orginal corolla dynamo the engine fell down from the stand... broken oil pan, or more crushed than broken found a new oil pan, these should be similar... made something to convert the clutch to wire... kind of difficult, due to the arm going the opposite way of the corolla :P installed a shifter, and i LOVE it! today i shortened the tail shaft and made a adopter from crolla diff to crown tail shaft.. sawing the tailshaft cut off 20 cm and welded it together again tomorow I'm hoping to start on the exhaust :D still waiting for my oil hoses to arrive so i can start the engine :D

i got it to fit :D had to remove the exhaust and chop some of the gearbox tunnel and then it was all good, only need to move the engine mount and shorten the axle also had to remove the fan, going to install a electric fan on the other side of the radiator :)
