  1. thanks guys! really need to fix the front spoiler and the right fender.. I need to gat antoher camera aswell.. this camera is like 10 old soon... got camber?? or extremly much toe out? had to drill 3 of the 5 holes for the rear bumper... so many square feets of new plate started on the interior aswell... but i mpved away from school yesterday so the rest of the assembeling will go kinda slow :)
  2. found some black paint and painted the all of the grill stuff black, the grill itself was black, but it mas matt and ugly and i did not have enough paint for it and the trim on the hood.. but you get an idea of how it is going to look like when finished :)
  3. sorted it out :)
  4. Thanks guys! will search the workshop for something and then test it , so it does not eat my paint up :)
  5. i need some help... how the hech do i remove the glue from the stickers? i can't clearcoat this shit! been masking the rest of the car aswell.. i could jsut mask it off and wonder about it after I'v painted white..
  6. white is next up, going to mask alot tomorow, and hopefully paint it aswell :) ferrari 300 rosso corsa
  7. wet sanded and I'v started to mask it.. fixed up a lot of errors after this picture was taken, getting really excited about seeing it finished,
  8. car is getting painted! 1 of the 3 colores is done! i have lots of masking to do tomorow, the stripes got to be perfect! I'v also made some mounts for the seats driver side passanger side, need to make the seat tilt forward..
  9. thanks B.L.Z:BUB, I'v put in too much time and effort considering I'm probly going to crash it when I'm getting my car licence, haha :P Bought the fender flares on ebay.. i decided not to use them, if i was going to use them i would need wider tires and rims.. and thats too expencive for me.. anyways here is a video, just had to take it out of the shed and test it.. i just love this car, its so light and fun to drive! not like anything iv driven before! the Toyota crowns we got feels like an old amarican car compared to this! iv wetsanded the car and its almost ready for paint, the thing is that dad is on vacation, and I'm moving away from home in a week to start school.. soo dunno how thats going to get done.. :( decided i needed some new seats, i went out and bought some really comfy bucket seats! took of the rails of the original seats and test mounted them on the new test mounted in the car , only got to mount one of the slides, they are too close to eachothers,, so i need to make something fancy there, and i need to make a mechanism to tilt the passanger seat forward..
  10. removed the interior.. started removing the front windshield, and someone used tec7 to glue the windshield in place... had to ask dad for help.. trying to get the rear window out.. some rust.. bog bog and even more bog.. no more dents here! just some scratched etc in the bog.. i need to bog and sand a few more hours before it's finished...
  11. more bogging , or "sparkling" as we call it in Norway :P begining to look good, just some small chips left on this fender... i welded a bit long on it so it became too hot and bent... started on the lower part of the car aswell just a bit more bog needed here :D no more antenna and then we have this enormous dent... still not good.. when i'm finished i need to strip the interior and dash, then prep inside and in the boot, and i need to get hold of some red paint :) getting excited :D
  12. thanks, yeah it was pretty rusty, but it was worth it :) lots of suff has been going on lataly, put this project away to rescue a Honda CB 1970 :) ill add a before and and after pic :) shit ugly.. this is AFTER a high pressure wash.. paint was like this all over.. after a LOT of sanding and bogging, i let dad paint it , turned out good :) after i finished that i figured one of the old Toyota Crowns we have needed a six cylinder instad of a 4.. so that got converted..the white one :) then it was back to the Corolla :) soo i figured i needed so many pars that i just might buy another car for parts.. so i went out and bought a similar car that previusly had a Turbo 2TG in it that was making 220+ hp, PO removed the engine, gearbox and the rear axle, car is modded to hydraulic clutch and transmition tunnes is modifyed a bit + it got some rust... even tho the paint is okay, going to use some parts from it then maybe put a CA18DET in it :) a friend has engine, ecu ,and everything i need + my brother is upgrading his s13 so we will be getting some spare parts like turbo etc.. don't say i shoud use this rolla instad of the other one, because this got some rust underneath, and it gots lots of chips and dents and a bit of surface rust, so it needs some paint anaywas... so ill save it for a future project :) got a nice steering wheel aswell nice front lip switched over the front plate... then some more bogging and sanding, just a example pic.. been bogging all over the car... then i decided to finish the welding, i had about 20 holes arround hte car that i needed to weld.. boot rustthreated behind the front plate aswell :) best trailer puller for sure! and here is my goal, i want to make a car almost identical to Chuck Wads's TE27 :) but mine will be a KE20 :) soo as you see that car does not have any bumpers, but i atleast want quarter bumpers, do anyone have a pic of a Xe20 with quarter bumpers? since i now got 2 sets of bumpmers , i am thinking of making one of them into quartes... and painting them black... :)
  13. I'v bought a KE20 that previusly had a Turbo 2TG blowthrough that made 230whp, engine, gearbox and rear axle is removed, the car is reinforced to handle the 230 hp, first test ride with new engien the windscreen broke due to the power... soo i'm thinking of buying a S13 and just swapping in the whole driveline into the ke20, but i don't know about the rear axle and tailsahft ... my brother has an S13 so i know how the rear axle is.. its hanging by 4 vertical bolts, is this easy to swap over to a ke20? or should i try to get hold of a solid rear axle? i have no idea about this? i know threre will be a lot of things that needs to be changed, the things I'm worrieed about is the tailshaft, rear axle, and wiring... any tips? iv done 2 engine swaps in the past... but those where pretty stright forward...
  14. welded the seat to the chassis.. welded a plate to mout the coil and ign. switch stuffed the wiring harness under it made a plate to mount the sprocket to a axle need to shorten the chain a bit a bit of thinking left...
  15. found short some 20mm bars.. drilled and taped them.. made some excelente spindles working steering system made the gearing work, and reinforced the engine mounts aswell added a joint to the steering wheel stick made a springed gas pedal stiff "swingarm" made housings for the bearings... now i need to get hold of a braking disc etc.. and a 20mm rear axle.. :)
  16. found a small sterring wheel and bought some threaded poles ( or whatever you guys call it) and made the steering a lot better
  17. Hey, a coupple of days ago i desided to build myself a cart form parts i got laying arround... the plan.. welded together the frame.. note. I'm not good at welding but i do my best.. bought some wheels started making the steering working steering found some bearings for the rear axle.. got a flywheelnut and a gear selector form a friend conected the wiring haness and bolted on the flywheel and carb, and it fired up! welded on a bar .. ahead of that I'm going to make a plate where ill have my feet, and were the pedals will sitt gear selector holding in the gear lever ... only need a bar between the gear lever and selector on the motor and thats how far iv gotten.. started on 31. mars :)
  18. took it for a ride :D done with the rust welding... tihs is what i found onder the car.. since last time i swept the floor... may be 1/2 of the rust i have removed on the right side... and then we have the left side , front and back... haha bought some more primer... from this 3 colored thingy... to this then i loaded it on a trailer and brought it home... how many other cars would fit on a ATV trailer ? haha
  19. yup :) like 50 bucks... i really enjoyed it tho... :) i used a lot more force than i would have managed while sitting normal and driving :P had to lay down partly and, take my hands behind the wheel and push on the firewall with my feets.... i pushed so hard i was shaking... so afterall it was pretty solid :) but it had stuck to the steering column pretty bad...
  20. thats a great plan :P ------------------ did not manage to get air in my tires due to they being too narrow... i saw someone do this on youtube and decided to give it a go :) here i am getting air in my tires... i think they look kind of small iv also removed my lowering blocks due to they will make the car fail in MOT test... also tried to take of my steering wheel... atlest i got it off... i used A LOT of force....
  21. photos or video for us that can't come would be great ? :) rally is allways fun :D
