hey all thanks for the comments, ;) oh ye and scott i would prob be keen for a swaybar ay so ye ill try an get on to that, and na it dosnt bounce around atall bieng so stiff ay its sweet and theres f@$k all body roll, because the shockers arnt fully compressed i think theres like a couple cm of give so there still helping out a little bit hah, ye i will probably leave the 12"s on haha i don't mind them atall, and no the springs are custom ye thats right haha custom ke11 super low auroras, i think thats how you spell it.... and no the leaf isnt fixed in the middle, i can see how it could work as a sway bar but the arms kinda do that aswell cuz there bolted to the botttom of the shockers an that ye i dunno hah, but ye thanks for the interesting facts philbey i thought that was prob the reason for the leaf, and to felix yes that sounds very true, but i can't really go that fast around corners atm cuz when i hit a bump going quick cornering it scrapes haha so i should be okay hopefully, ill just cruze her nice like a granny.... :hmm: but i still might have to raise that back a bit just so i can atually go places hahah cheers haydo

hey mate, ye the front of these ke10 an 11n's are super gay to lower ay but I'm pretty happy with the outcome, i will have to raise the back a couple of cm just so its the same as the front because its fair low atm and i can't go to quick over bumps if you no what i mean, and yes i had to compress the springs a little bit hay wasnt atually to bad because the springs were so small being super lows that they were about a coil or two to big to fit straight under the perches so ye was all good but very stiff to compress hah! but now that i have chopped them(not a heaps good idea but it worked) when i put them back in it was way way easy and having no leaf spring there to hold the arms up made it alot more easyer aswell because i could move them around alot :POSTPICS!: but ye see how it goes without the leaf spring, scott was aying i might need a sway bar or something??? do you no why these models even had the added front leaf spring?? and if it should be right without it ?? chweers haydo

hey all, so stoked i finally got this front down, i just ended up ripping the leaf spring out and chopping about 3 coils off my springs shockers are pretty much fully compressed but hey! :yes: it still handles sweet and feels good an safe so thats what i wont, looks sick all round now heaps happy with it, thanks to scott (rol:110) for the advise, cheers mate the front looks kinda tough i reckon haha go the cruzer! heres some pics i just took look heaps clean at the moment i reckon :dance: :POSTPICS!: all it needs now is some 14n's an white walls! let me no what ya think! cheers haydo :yes:

ight as i said above i was thinking of just taking the leaf spring out, so i did that today and it dropped a fair bit ;) :dance: :dance: :cool: happy happy yay yay pretty much! and i took her for a spin and it felt fine still handled sweet nice an tight f@$k all bodyroll, but because the springs are so stiff its not allowing it to drop heaps it still has like anouther 10cm to go, because now without the leaf spring there they are really compressed so ill have to chop a few coils off allowing it to drop more and space out the coils abit :y: but this would meen my shockers will be fully compressed so ill need shortened shockers hey? which i have no idea but hopefully i can just order them in from somewere hey? but ye its nearly there so I'm very exited whooo! any comments on taking the leaf spring out would be much appreciated, cheers haydo

hey just had an idea! what would happen if i just took the whole leaf out of the front? and just ran it on the coils?? it would drop way low wouldnt it and then i could just get shorter shockers and cut my springs?????? would this work and would it be reasonably safe? please let me no asap, so i can rip it out tomoro! :dance: :cool: ;) :dance:

hey all ye so i got the other leaf spring in out of the ke10 a couple of days ago it did drop a bit which made me happy :cool: but still has a fair way to go, but now that the leaf has let it drop my coils are a little bit more compressed the top coil is atually touching the one underneath it, does this mean that i can chop a coil or 2 off of them now??? and will that let it drop abit more or will the leaf spring hold it up ????????? i dunno i think i can chop a coil off an it should go lower ay??? i seriously am over pulling my springs in an out tho ay ;) i would love to just drop it off some were and pick it back up all low at the front, but iv rang around an no one wants to do it and think its a bad idea messing around with it because i quote "the leaf spring could snap" pffffff f@$kin wankers just do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fark! anyone no somewere that will help me out? save me playing around?? cheers haydo

hey all, finally put my lowered springs in, aaaaaand ye its probably higher than what it was before.... gaaaaaaaaay! but i was told this was goin to happen because of the leaf springs, so i kind of expected it. but ye farkin hasel i just want it low like the back, iv got leaf springs from a ke10 and have been told to switch them with the 1 thats in there atm to bring it down about an inch, so i guess thats next to do, but i still would need it down probably anouther inch anda half if not more as you can see in the pics, so what can i do get the front down more???? atleast level with the guards! gosh :) PLEASE HELP! I WANT TO DRIVE HER ALREADY! cheers haydo.

hey all names haydo this is my latest ride, bought it threw here you probably seen it up for sale but i was quick to grab it hah, since i bought it iv installed vanetian blinds, old grandpa front seat covers, nana picnic blanket on back seat, lowered the back just flipped 2 leafs, iv got super lows for the front but havnt put them in yet as I'm waiting on gettin front leaf springs so it will go low enuff, you no what i mean, iv got noice shiny 3 inch exaust tip an new muffler put on for a some sound, iv also bought brand new tyres all round and I'm waiting till the fronts lowered till i get my white walls as it will be abit of a cop magnet at the moment i finks... :hmm: iv also got the plates ROL-411 following on from my previous ROL-420 iv installed a rollaclub sticker for the back window, sprayed ma rims white and installed a shweet steza, which includes, -pioneer head unit mounted in glove box. -two 280watt kenwood 6 inch speakers that are in speaker spacer things, i had hell hasel puting it in but managed to fix them with the original bolts that hold the interior in so i didnt have to drill or cut up the interior atall :y: -two kenwood 6x9 inch 450 watt speakers in boxes fixed on the back pasel shelf. -600watt pioneer amp fixed on template in the boot -1400watt pioneer sub fixed from every angle by ocky straps :D pics my plans for the car, to get this front down to the ground so it dosnt look like a rocket, white walls, dash retrimmed, roof lining reapolstured new carpet maybe its not that bad tho, and ye a few little things, leaving the stock engine for now if i do anything in that area it would be to replace the original with a 5k, but basically once iv got my front lowered and my white walls i just wana take it on a rolla cruze with some other oldskoolers ay :y: ill update with some piccys once the fronts down an white walls are on. cheers haydo.

hey all, lowered ma ke11 last night, just did the back cuz front springs are still on there way, tryed a different way to normal (for me) rather than what i would normally do ( take the the two bottom leafs and flip them onto the top , i just took the bottom leaf an the very top leaf an flipped them on top, and the end product was sweet the wheels were about 6.5cm past the guards, fair tight gettin the wheels back in but i still managed i just had to jack it up off of the body not the diff ahhaha so low but thats what i was goin for so yeh! way stiffer than just flippin the two bottom leafs ay give it a go :D oh ye but my friggin sub bounces up an down flat out now over little bumps so ill need to fix that to the ground nothing that more oky straps can't fix ahhaah yew ill post some pics an info on what else iv done in rides an projects soon. :wink: cheeerrs haydo

hey all, iv currently got anouther ke11 for a little project, its just in for a respray and a new engine an some other minor things, basically i don't have any idea on what engines will fit in to the ke11 model other than the 5k, 7k, and I'm after something with abit more power but i don't want it to set me back millllions and i don't want to chop up my firewall an that, i really want a turbo engine an don't want to rotor it, so iv hada sus around on here and and I'm looking at the ca18 but just want to no if people have done it and how much the engine set them back and anything else that was needed eg. engine mounts an gear box. any pics or info and prices would be sweet as. cheers haydo

ye that sounds alrite ay, but for now iv just worked out what mph are in kph and ill just have it sittin there on a piece of paper near my speedo, I'm sure after a while ill no it of by heart ay. 10 mph = 15 kph 15 mph = 25 kph 18 mph = 30 kph 24 mph = 40 kph 30 mph = 50 kph 37 mph = 60 kph 43 mph = 70 kph 49 mph = 80 kph 55 mph = 90 kph 60 mph = 100 kph anything over 60 means I'm going to fast... hahah cheers haydo.

I live in victor harbor S.A, and if a cop pulled you over here you would get reemed in the arse ay! :) iv just purchased a ke11 and would love to flip 2 leaves and have it sittin past the guards, but if i just drove like a granny down the mainy goin to donate some money to the local cancer foundation they would still pull me over sooooo quick an defect me and probably go over my whole car lookin over every little thing! (they cleary have nothing better to do) iv lowered many cars and i usually just flip the two top leaves but with this one ill be gettin lowering blocks an have it sit level with the guards or add leaves atleast it shouldnt look to low and ill probably get away with it. oh ye and flipping leaves is fun if you want to go over bumps and get air cuz its always trying to push your car up :lolcry: adding leaves is the way cuz its sooooo mega stiff then you can go really fast round bends :lolcry: cheers haydo.
