yeah the guys at the dyno reckon it will see anywhere between 220 and 250.. if i got a 12 sec pass id be happy and id be wrapt with an 11

well went again today, car is ready to start now...spoke to some of the guys and they reckon tomorrow will be the day it gets started...fingers crossed

lol its killing you? mate I'm edging to see how it goes, id be happy with 250hp on 10psi, should see me run a high 11 hopefully ..

well i found out that they put the wastegate on, put fuel in it, and then went to work on another car...so they now think the car will be ready next week sometime..

mate words cannot describe how furious i am... don't worry, ill be taking it out as is once i get it back and go over it to make sure everything is tight.. might be next week or the week after, who knows.. it does have fuel in it and is ready to start,

long story short, the car wont be attending supernats now :( screamer pipe still hasnt been done.. car hasnt been started.. Not going to rush it to supernats now...once i get it back ill start cutting rust out and get a nice coat of paint on it and hopefully be out on the sunday street meet on the 23rd of october..

got an email from che, should be started on wednesday

its 98% finished guys, everything is hooked up!! ready to fire.. the last thing to be done is the screamer pipe to be plumbed in and then its ready to go...hopefully it gets done this week

Yeah he is awsome... Yeah its coming out the way i wanted it, its had its ups and downs, times when i was pumped to see it finished, other days where i wish i never had it....People tell me I'm wasting my time with it, but the way i see it, its one of my dream cars so I'm really motivated now to finish it and prove the haters wrong

so went to che again to see some progress, fuel system setup has changed again, now gone back to the surge tank idea but moved the surge tank under the car.. Its a real nice setup and chris, the gun welder at che has done a great job. and here is a picture of underneath the car from the diff forward... the only thing thats not connected is the shifter cable its neeeeeeeeearrrrrrrrlllllyyyy there

i know its the same weekend as toyota fest, but wanna see who else is going to come to supernats, ill be there in my 13b ke26 if all goes to plan. would like to see other old school rollas there.

so i spoke to the guys at che on friday and they said they guy is coming out to wire the haltech to the add ons of the car, then hopefully the car should be started early in the week, hopefully dynoed at the end of the week

lol nup, pump 98oct, dale at che reckons it will be good...when the new motor goes in it will run great

well heres an update on the car, fuel rail is in, the 1000cc injectors i had purchased didnt fit in this rail, so the solution we had was to go bigger, they had some indy blues 1600cc injectors lying around so they went in.. fuel tank is also done 45litres all up not much to go now, just gotta connect the fuel system up at the rear and at the front, wire the haltech up, finish the intercooler pipe and should be good to start next week so ive been told.. fingers crossed

hey guys just as the title states I'm after the paint code for the bamboo colour for a 73 ke26, just got told by gup that my car wont be allowed in to powercruise unless its painted so might aswell chuck a coat on..

nah I'm in nsw.. i got coilover sleeve kits and strut tops from otomoto and welded them up myself, feels so good in the front. For the moment i have left the rear leafs standard, when i start racing ill work out which side to take out and add..

went to see the car again yesturday.. Not much progress, polished speedflow fuel rail has been purchased and i dropped off the new radiator...

ah nice....so looks like we will both have 13b ke26's ...good to see progress

lol the reverse scoop is later down the track, after the cars running some good numbers.. mrke30, yeah i can't wait to see how it looks out on the track, and at supernats i think if it all works proprely, will suprise alot of people because it looks a little beat up tho.. i pick up the radiator from just alloy radiators on thursday and then go to che on friday to see how its going
