  1. this is the only kesev i have seen that is eligable for hot 4's or eny other rice mag... love the colour but..
  2. how capable are you working with cars.. can you do most of the fab work yourself?? CA or SR is the way to go.. don't believe the tools that think a ca or sr will throw the balance of the car away, thats a load of *milkshake*.. the srt and ca weigh just a fraction more than a 4age... whats your budget??
  3. nice ride mate.. you should crank a larger radiator.. the ae82 corolla rad will work with the existing hoses but has to be mounted customly..I'm sure you can work it out.. its a nice fit... a cooler engine is a great thing... :P
  4. cheers mate.. s13 hubs bolt straight up with the cressida arms... not a straight fit but pretty close.. a little bit of grinding is required to make the arms fit in the ke crossmember.. you will need a s13 hub knuckle thingy to bolt the s13 coilovers to.. the coilover has to have body adjustment in order to work properly..

  8. hahah getting em' even takes patience my friend... it took me like 4 goes of bogging sanding, bogging sanding.. etc.. the key to sanding it is to use a large block of wood with paper... good luck
  9. get a hammer and a dolly block and bashthe living shit out of your guards... bog, sand and then paint the guards.. its easy as, just takes alot of time... heres a pic of mine..
  10. what a wak thread...
  11. ^^ lol i doidnt get mine from ajps.. i got em off a mate... ajps can get the lighter racing version of the supelite which is what i have... 200 would be for the shit superlites mate...
  12. heres a better poic.. there are many types of superlites.. the shit ones and the good ones...
  13. they are some brand of watanabe... good luck getting em.. for under 2 or so grand in australia... i have 15x8 superlites on my 70 which are sorta similar... ring ajps.. they are a grang or so for a new set..
  14. sign up to ae86 driving club,, search for a member called flubber.. he has a sr det in hios 70... I'm sure he'll be willing to help ya out
  15. yo if you want some GOOD informatin about possible engine swaps into a ke70 look on ae86drivingclub.com... alot of good shit on there.... ;)
  16. some nobs seem to think athat 4age's are the bestest motor ever and charge over a grand for em truth is they arent worht shit for their age..
  17. BAH^^ My last kesev had twin SU's, extractors with full exhaust and large race cam.. it was junk.. that all cost me close to 600, money wasted if u ask me.. 4age install will cost u just as much maybe more than any nissan motor... reality.... k motors are junk.. 4ages are good.... ca, sr or even the rb are cheap and farkn quick!!! don't waste time and money with pushrod junk!!!!
  18. nissan motors for the motha farkin win... don't go rb go ca or sr.. i have a ca in my ke70, goes like a showere of shit... a mate has a sr in his.. goes like a shower of diohrea.... don't listen to the purist fags,, cheap power is the way to go!!
  19. The open wheeler costs you money... NO reliable...yes Boring..fark yes DANGEROUS!... yes in any car with remote power!! sorry but i have strong views on open wheeled diffs, they are junk!! Honestly i find it more dangerous driving my ca18det ke70 with an open wheeler as it is unpredictable and you have no control over the back end with throttle, its all loose as steering!!!
  20. SIMPLE! if you want to do skids, LOCK THE DIFF!!!!!! if you DO NOT want to skid, keep it an open diff... to all the people that think it is dangerous and not worth the trouble in the under powered car. :sob: goddamn it, lockers make any underpowered rwd car a barrel of laughs and a shit load of fun! a locker will teach you to drive like a real man :hmm: not some fwd open wheeled faggot!!
  21. If you want to skid the car, lock the diff, and you wont regret it.. if you want a smooth daily car, keep it open... simple... ive always had lockers in my daily driven ke70';s, good fun on gravel and in da wet... the other options are all too expensive and involve replacing the entire diff and tailshaft to accomodate the T series with a 2 way or lsd centre... NOT worth it unless you have a good motor, not the shitty old 4k or 4ac....... a mad upgrade in the ke70 is changing to the auto ke70 diff as it has the 4:3 ratio, Great acceleration... what colour is your ke man, i have that red CA18det one in blackwood too.... hope this helps
  22. those hardcore gangsters should be kicked in the throat... ;)
  23. cheers for the input fellas, turned out to be the coil packs..
  24. gday guys, i have a ke70 with a ca18det in it and I'm having a few problems. when under boost it is missing quite badly, but when driving off boost it drives fine. just wondering if ne1 has had this happen to them, ne input wld be appreciated. it feels like there is not enough fuel gettin pumped in when boostin..
  25. hey man don't waste ur time with a nikki carbie, i ran twin SU's a large race cam and extractors on the 4k in a ke70, it went quite well all along the rev range. this entire set up cost me under $500.00 ull b amazed an old junk 4k can sound so good!
