  1. New system includes: -Pioneer 4" front (180hz highpass, for those who care) -Jaycar 4way 6x9" rear -Pioneer 15" sub -Sony 4 channel amp (running the 4" fronts, and bridged for sub) Parcel tray also got a re-vamp thanks to Karatan Custom Enclosures, big thanks to Nick for all his help. From this: To this: Now ready for the Wiseman's cruise....haha :P
  2. Extractors+exhaust system and K+N Panel filter (then gut underneath the airbox). keeps it legal! :fuzz: You can get springs reset for around 200 if you take them out yourself and bring them to the shop, or 300 if the shop does it all...any heigfht you want... But if you plan to get rims, get them BEFORE you lower it. It all depends on budget and taste. PICS!! mm
  3. I could pump my stereo, but that means i have to bring the charade....don't wanna wreck the theme...HAHAHA...
  4. I beleive they are "Globe" rims my friend. Nice lookin '20 you have there... keep up the good work. Mark
  5. Fair enough. Well, like i said we're trying to do the best with what we have. want it to be Loowwww....
  6. I herd some hollywood gossip that you got some more parts.... might just be gossip tho...hahaha More PICS!! MM
  7. Same here, sorry to hear about that. Hope all is well, dedicating a build to a loved one's memory would make it all that much more rewarding to complete. Take care of yourself champ. MM
  8. The thing is we just wanna use what's on there, don't wanna spend any money on it unnecessarily. If we can lower it without changing anything (except rolling guards), that would be ideal. The tyres at themoment are 195/60 R15's, so maybe if when it's up for tyres we go with a 185/50?? anyway, system went in on saturday...cranks hard, just have to mount the Sick by 9's...
  9. yeah it was owned by a 40-sumthin year old man since new... i already know the wheels are slightly wrong, because it has spacers on it, to keep it from hitting the strut i suppose. either way, we wanna keep what's on there and lower it, so rolling is the way to go... meybe next time she's up for tyres we'll look at getting something lower profile and skinnier... any suggestions?
  10. Thanks alot champ, hopefully soon it will look a bit better with tints and lowered... now i wanna buy one...if i can find a manual one in good condition for the right price, we might have twins..HAHA
  11. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has experimented with different size radiators in turbo ke20's. I'm currently looking for one, will be running 10-15psi to begin with.....and eventually 20-28psi.... Is there any radiator out of another car that will fit, and have the cooling capacity to serve my needs?? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Mark M
  12. Did someone say Summernats Horsepower Heroes? hahah sorry mick, but that dyno pic looks MEAN! was that Paulse Racing or Pulse?? Cheers, Mark
  13. Yeah it's a great little/not-so-little car... I'm just happy it's original, we saw so many with resprays and rust coming through... at least on this one what u see is what you get... This kind of boot space would be dangerous in my garage... i just can't stop thinkin of how many subs i could shove in there!
  14. Now with pics! Please feel free to photoshop the pics with black tints and lower at the back....haha
  15. HAHA...this is a great thread my mate has a 1991 Corolla CS Limited (4af-carbie twin cam)... it has a tad over 300k on it, and hasnt had the timing belt changed since 100k. We blew the head gasket, doing fully sick up-hill smoke shows in the wet, sitting on the limiter in second...which we still do regularly... drove it back to his house and did a dodgy head gasket change over a weekend, no head machining, NOTHING! just a spatula to take off the old gasket, new gasket and lots of gasket sealer... carbie is rooted, he always runs it to empty tank & it blows more smoke than a chimney... ..and still going strong, EVERY SINGLE DAY! The most f@$ked thing is, he's never blown a gearbox or CV joints, where as in my Charade i go thru CV's every 3-5 months and syncro's every year...and i Baby the f@$kin thing.... AE92 Corolla - best value car in my opinion, it just won't die!!
  16. Hi all, my missus finally got her first car and I'm proud to announce it's a Corolla. The car is a 1990 Corolla Seca SPIRIT! It's powered by an auto 4afc power-house, has 170k on the clock, and has 15" alloys. The exterior and interior of the car is in fantastic condition, and for the price we payed it's hard to find better... :sob: And after some help from "Paint"...Pimpin' To-do list: -Tints (probably 5 or 15%) -Sound System (I have one waiting to go in) -Roll rear guards...coz it scrubs with fatties like me in it... -Lowering (sits fairly high with the 15's) Cheers, MM
