  5. Hi got a mate on brissy southside
  6. these things didn,t handle because they were 120kph faster than your average 71 corolla running on cross ply tyres. you don,t see to many ke 20,s in historic racing. in fact is there a corolla ever built that can compare to a 37 year old falcon 13.7 1/4 mile FACTORY. top speed 250kph. fact is you have to spend $50000 plus to get a falcon or c/dore to beat one. so my thoughts are disaster
  7. so you,d rather drive your corolla than an xy gt. when you say your sick you really are sick
  8. YEP SORT OF LIKE THE WAGON AS WELL, HOPE IT,S GOT A BIT MORE WEIGHT ON THE BACK WHEELS, THE KE30 COULD GET A BIT SCARY
  9. WHATS GOING ON, EVERYONE,S DOING WAGONS, THOUGHT I WAS DOING SOMETHING DIFFERENT
  10. your mechanic is 98% right, it,s pumping oil up the breather because it,s pressurising the sump, this can be caused by 2 problems 1 piston, rings OR 2 blown head gasket between bore & oil return galleries, this is very rare but either way don,t bother making catch cos it,s gonna shit it,s self anyway, take the air filter out ( so it doesn,t suck the oil up) drive it as easy as possible & start looking for a good 2nd hand motor

  13. Sorry dude, you won,t fix an rz by knocking the dissy back, 9.5/1 comp on rods as thick as a pencil won,t work, lock one of these at 25deg and it wont get out of your driveway. check out the 3RZ/2rz dedicated thread on toymods you,ll see what happens to them
  14. something like this? great engine except they break con rods,
  15. Hey dudes i,m retired but that doesn,t stop me liking old cars, just slow ones. what was good in the 70s seems to still be good now eg mustang bullit, mini, beetle, comaro. same with music, everythings retro. it,s all unspecific ( sorry random )
  16. have a look at (garret water carburator) i,m thinking it may help us
  17. our motor runs on 5% petrol 95% water Although it runs better at 20% we got all the info off the net, spent $100 on fittings & 1 day to build. no one could have been more surprised when it started, the only problem we have is controlling the engine speed & it,s noisy but it,s very powerfull we already mow our lawns with it. Were thinking that in automotive use you would have to run a constantly variable transmission???? our next step is to get a car engine running on it (3k of course) Electricity seems like a bandaid to me, the ideal power source is magnatism, it,s all around us , we just have to control it but seeing as i,m flat out getting a mower going i might let someone else figure that one out. I read an article that their is a million trillion litres of fossil fuel still under the ground, do you think they are going to find an alternative till they,ve used all that up, no wonder all the inventors are dying mysteriously
  18. If you look under a std corolla at ride height the pinion faces slightly down, this should be exactly the same on your hilux diff, unfortunately most diff guys just weld the spring brackets in line with the pinion, over bumps & under power the snout faces further up towards the floor, you can buy shims to change this but it,s really easy to grind them off spin them slightly & weld back on, also a good time to check guard to tyre clearance, it,s amazing how much difference a couple of mm make DON,T CUT THE FLOOR if your angle is wrong you,ll never keep unis in it
  19. google water4gas, may surprise, we,ve already got a 4 stroke mower running on a mix of 5 parts petrol 95 parts water, next is a car Youtube water powered lawn mower, water powered car
  20. Depends where its hitting, if its the snout stop ( like mine did ) just move it forward 25mm. if its the spring stops cut them down to compensate for the thicker tube
  21. Na seems they didn,t like it. Fun police
  22. THiught you might like a look at my sons mazda, burnout in 4th @ 9000rpm @ 200kpm 1.6 60ft 109 mph half track 133mph 400m, not bad on street tyres daily driver
